guys need help..
today morning I just checked my NS and found that engine oil is leaking from the oil filter.
yesterday a big stone around 3 inch size was threw by front tire onto the engine while riding on a road full of potholes. I can see a small scratch or crack on Oil Filter cap.
Now worried about repair and warranty and as today is Sunday, I have to wait for Monday to get it repaired at SVC.

hello.!
i also encountered the same problem with my 200ns but it was leaking without anything hitting like stone or whatever.
bajaj service centre were unable to resolve this problem and i had to visit them about 8 times till it was solved.
the problem might be with the ring that is behind the oil filter cap.
and i think u might have to change this oil filter cap also./

Doesn't look like engine is having crack, more like paint is gone. Can you confirm on this ?
Regarding the cap. Get a new gasket for the cap. Will be fine, leaking will be plugged. But not sure about the level of crack on the cap. if it is still leaking after a gasket change , then you might need to have a new oil cap.

no there is no crack anywhere on filter cap or engine.. just checked. Cap housing got little bent towards inside and cap has that scratch on it. But oil is still leaking. And I think at this rate of leaking, upto tomorrow half of the engine oil will be lost. My local mechanic is also out of town today. Just waiting for tomorrow.

Just hate this kind of Indian Roads. I was just around 20 kmph low speed and this happened. I forgot it yesterday but today morning after watching this, I am worried.

Oh, then its totally fine, change the rubber seal/gasket on the cap , will be plugged.
And about oil, the leak will stop soon, don't worry, it wont leak all of the oil, keep the bike on side stand and the leak will be minimized. And get the bike to svc first thing tmrow morning and get the job done.

So don't worry.

can anyone tell me the average you are getting on your 200ns.?
because i am getting 36kmpl under rash driving ( riding in the city upto 90km/hr ).

Need help....

Guys need your help.....

Was driving on an open road today around 105 in 5th gear but as soon as I shifted to 6th gear the rpm started decreasing and the bike started slowing down at around and stabilized at around 85kmph refusing to go higher. Checked everything... oil, coolant, fuel everything was fine, again tried accelerating and the result was same.

What can be the issue?
Also from past few weeks bike sort of halts at 7k rpm for a second or two and then suddenly increases from thereon to the redline.

28~34 ,AND IM NOT PROMOTING DRAG RACING .....but my rpm reaches 9k whenever my bike moves from standstill( in just 2 sec)

Bought new Center stand, MRF rev ZS n a Vega axor helmet
Good helmet for the yellow NS
Got MRF for 2.6k, I guess I lucky
Also center stand doesnt scrape the road like my 220 does

Clocked 550kms in 4 days.. My 1st service is due. Gonna give it on this tuesday
Getting Mileage of 45 to 50kmpl on speeds ranging from 57-67kmhr

Actually what happens, most of the SVC don't service Disc set up if it's not asked or not opened for pad change. This leads dust to accumulate and make sound. INMO this is because dust resists the free mechanism of the Disc Break. Cleaning helps it keep healthy condition.

Sounds comes from even r15` s,and surprisinly, only rear disc produces the sound ,front never generates even a pee sound ,can anyone tell why .
