    Hi,
I am planning to buy a pulsar 200ns dual color. But I have heard that the tyres ain't good and the bike starts to give " kharcha " in couple of years. I have also heard that the bike vibrates alot.
Please give your suggestions because I am buying it from My saving, not taking anything from Home
And please suggest some good tyres also.
    Thanks

You can save the troubles and go with R15 v2,one hell of a ride.
Or you may also look at Rtr180 ,fz etc
If budget allows, then duke, cbr

I feel P200NS is plagued with gear slips, false neutrals etc and would really like this issue to be resolved for good.
While surfing the net, came across this piece and I'm quoting from the same article below.
The rider feels these problems can be resolved and one way could be an upgrade/switch to forged clutch lever.

If so, I'm ready to bite the bullet !

The clutch of NS isn’t like the forged ones on CBR or Apache, which causes false neutrals while putting the gear from 1st to 2nd, and downshifting problems sometimes. But this isn’t a problem which can’t be resolved.

EDIT: The link above doesn't seem to work, please PM if you need more info regd. the source.
Never argue with a fool, for he will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

I was just browsing internet casually and reading bike related articles got to know about Daytona Kit for Yamaha R15. I was aware about that earlier also but no knowledge about what eaxctly are the mods done to bike by Daytona Kit.

What came in my mind is that if we can use a few parts of Daytona Kit in our NS modification. I don't know anything technically but want some mods in my bike.

Kindly suggest and share your views too.
No one interested in getting more from our NS.

Costs me around Rs.280/- and was fitted my a local mechanic cost Rs.20/- to me. But that look awesome and also a genuine part of KTM.

                        Hi Friends,
I am planning to buy a pulsar 200ns.The new dual color edition .
But I have heard mixed reviews about the bike.
I have heard that the bike gives lot of vibration aft few thousand kms and there is some problem because the coolant flows in the engine.
Another thing is the tyre,I have read that the Eurogrip tyres ain't good.
And My height is 5'6, is it possible to alter the seat and lower its height .
Please suggest Me what to do , n should I go for this bike or not.

Changed the oil from stock to motul 3100 gold, and my oh my. First thought was that the ride haven't been this smoother. The vibrations just disappeared. No gear slips, no false neutrals. The gear shifts feel much more solid.
Second thought was that why the hell bajaj guys cannot provide a better oil if it makes so much difference.
. one cannot appreciate the real feel of NS until the oil upgrade.

Tires are good. I am riding for over a year, no kharcha, no problem with tyres, enough grip for any condition. What over enthusiastic riders feel is that the tire can be better, esp for a 23.5 bhp engine. But they're in no way bad. Plus apart for engine oil change, i never paid any kharcha
