Got coolant leakage and took it to the bajaj asvc and they the coolant pipe has to be replaced and that wouldn't be considered under warranty. My concern is it isn't a wear or tear part and has to be covered under warranty, please drop in your suggestions. Thinking of sending a mail to baja regarding this.

I tried looking in the service manual of P200NS but could not find any info regarding drive chain spec. I'd be glad if somebody shares more info about the chain sprocket of NS.
ns has a 520 chain pitch too, am using the 13t sprocket and works like charm.
ive even drag raced with my friend who has a ns too which is totally stock, i was way ahead of his bike plus i weight 81 and hes just around 60 i guess.
        mileage drops 3-4kmpl.

no it will stall if you wont give enough gas
if you change your front sprocket to 13t then you can easily roll by slowly releasing the clutch and with out giving gas, just like duke200

This is not part of of the wear and tear and has to covered under warrenty, good that you raised the concern with bajaj. This is a manufacturing defect.

PS: How old is the bike and how many KMS done till now?
          RIP Marco

Hey Guys, Crossed the 15 K mark on the ODO and its time for 4th paid service, Have been getting FE of 40 KMPL under Aggressive driving conditions. On Motul fully synthetic oil.

I have a peculiar problem and have been observing a rattling sound which emanates from under the Exhaust/Center Stand and its really getting irritating, starts at 2K RPM and is there till 7K RPM, Checked all the screws, all tight and no visible cracks, even took to a local Mechanic who could not identify where the sound was coming from.

Apart from that the bike is pure awesomeness and it still amazes me how cleanly its pulls from zero to 100 KM near traffic signals.

What are the important checks that I need to go for at SVC, any parts/Items to be changed... Please advice, Would really appreciate it, thanks in advance

Have a great year ahead and keep crunching those miles

                1. Tighten the bolt highlighted in the above image. It might be loose
                2. If it does not help then it could be the metal gasket (known as muffler gasket) which has gone kaput and is making that rattling noise.
                3. Gasket has to be placed. Costs approx Rs.60 (highlighted in red color)

PS: before doing this check all the surrounding areas near the muffler joint for any loose bolt/part. If not then you can check what i mentioned above.

Nope. Its something inside the silencer pipe. Thats all what I know about it.

Nothing much can be done. Just avoid it getting more scratched. This happens in almost all bikes.

Check how that's getting scratched then avoid doing that. I don't think anything else can be done.

                              Urgent help needed
Guys my bike is leaking engine oil, right from the day I switched to motul 3100 gold 20w50. Does this oil have tendency to leak. .? Specifically leaking from the bolts of that round cap where oil filter is inserted. I had the both nuts tightened just to check but still it's leaking.
Leak is like 2-4 drops below that area when I drive for like 500m, also I see some minute oil film at the joining of both engine blocks in bottom sir
Also my gear shifting is not what I expected from motul, even gear shifting on dtsi oil was much smoother, when it was new
2500 kms on odo, on motul I've done only max 40kms
UPDATE- no oil leak when bike is in standstill, not even a drop from anywhere, confirmed by placing a napkin below and no trace of oil.also I forget to mention.I had cleaned my engine by some vacuum machine (shopkeeper had it) and then pour about 1.35 to 1.4 litre of oil. Bike is 200ns
I'm in total depression, please help.

Maybe the filter cover was not put back properly.
Also, don't try to over-tighten the bolts. That would do way more damage (to the threads).

Also, the shifts should not be hard. Let the oil settle in by doing more kms and see if they improve.
And I am no sir mate just a noob like you.

                                Ride safe and have fun.
