Guys i am with ma Bruiser for only 2 times a month (Alternate saturday, sundays). But I do a long trip most of the times that makes ma buddy to touch 3.5k kms in odo. If this kind of ridding will affect my Bruiser.

NOTE : My sister will made him to idle for about 10-15 mins for 2 to 3 days interval.

            Help needed
Now I'm planning to go keoladeo bird sanctuary ( also known as bharatpur bird sanctuary) from Delhi,
            I am noob about directions
Went always only via YAMUNA express way and that too when my cousin guided me.
This time doing alone and not via EXPRESSWAY but via the old route (I think that's NH2).
So please tell me the route and all things.
If you cannot direct me to someone or a thread that can thanks
And this will be my first solo tour, I'm a big time dependent guy when it comes to bug things, when I went with my brother, I used to carry only helmet, rest everything was done by my brother
So please treat me as noob and tell what to do/ don't s and what to take, what route to take and precautions, pretty much everything.thanks in advances bros

For direction, Google maps are the best. Nothing better.

As for other things, read this: Long Distance Riding: The Art of Safe Riding
everything has been laid down in the simplest of words.

              Ride safe and have fun.

Thanks for replying but google is showing me the way via EXPRESSWAY. Which I don't wanna go from, I want to use the old nh2 ,also I believe more in desi maps( asking two three people for directions hehehe ) when it comes to non city riding

First check if the diameter of the fork tubes matches or not. I think NS has thicker tubes than R15.

My opinion - avoid such things and keep it stock.

Here is a screenshot of the route through NH2. In Google Maps, you can alternatively choose between the Yamuna Expressway route and NH2 route.

T10 wedge type, AFAIK anything upto 30 SMD fits in the P200NS without any trouble.

My mechanic after doing his test concluded that tuning is correct and also tappets are ok and nothing to worry. Also got a chance to ride his bike and his bike has been modified with 13T front sprocket. Felt like a 2 stroke while accelerating as the short stroke motor was revving quickly and also the smaller sprocket was doing its wonder. Felt explosive to ride and bajaj has done good with the DUKE engine. Moreover felt comfortable to ride. Some thing that i didn't liked(my opinion as it is not a disadvantage but i missed) was that although bajaj has done a good job but after riding hero bikes for so many years pampered by their smoothness, bike felt very naked, almost felt like nothing is at front and third thing after riding extreme this feels smaller in size.Rest all was pleased with the bike and loved to ride it.And also @ smrutisourav is the first person on xbhp to ride my Joy.

Do you have any idea from which bike he procured the 13T front sprocket? BTW I do not know why but I find it easier than other bikes to tune up carburetor and adjust tappets on the 200NS. I too get to ride a CBZ Xtreme often and in my opinion 200NS feels way smaller than Xtreme because of the ease of handling, you do not feel like you are riding a 150 kilo bike. My only complaint is the stock Eurogrip tires, as someone here puts it, the only grip the tire has is on the sidewall, in the brand name

Guys, I do not want to sound officious, but please take queries related to touring to the appropriate section of this forum, this thread is for discussion about Pulsar 200NS.

A fellow Rider got the front sprocket changed to 13T and was procured from Hero Karizma.

I have heard of that too but I am not sure if the chain pitch. Chain pitch of ZMA is 520 but I don't know the chain pitch of P200NS. I think 520 is not really the chain pitch, it is the chain size/number. If ZMA has a 520 chain the pitch would be 15.875 mm and the thickness of sprocket is 0.227 inch. I tried looking in the service manual of P200NS but could not find any info regarding drive chain spec. I'd be glad if somebody shares more info about the chain sprocket of NS.
