Re: Pulsar 200 NS
But they screw up at doing it, well, there is no such thing as free lunch. BTW the picture should be displaying now. I do not recommend that you tilt the bike sideways and remove the oil filter. Just one slip and you gonna have to replace fairings again.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostI am back!

But fully lean it then no part of fairing will hit the ground.
But it's better not to do it.
As per me i would recommend keep riding like that and keep checking oil level. Don't do anything unless oil level drops.

You read my mindOriginally posted by smrutisourav View PostBetter than stock design. Am waiting for 200ss to launch, just because i want to use it's number plate holder. And replace the odd looking one that we have which makes the whole bike look bad from back

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
guys what is the life of clutch plates and chain sprockets on our NS.
my bikes chain sprocket got uneven wear, it gets tight at some places and loose at other places. it is getting very difficult to tighten it correctly, my mechanic says, its life is over, change it. but it has not even reached half of its setting range.
odo-15800 kms
because of this chain hits the metal strip around front sprocket sometimes and sometimes silencer side bolt.
another problem i observed lately is that it is not going beyond 127/128 kmph, while earlier i have done 141 kmph and 135 (riding double i.e. with wife and bags etc)
although there is no drop in acceleration.
also carb is showing up i guess... coz there is a lag around 65000-7000 rpm, and then bike shoots like bullet. how much does diaphram costs??
any expert views..??

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
So today I concentrated and zeroed in on two problems
1. Oil is leaking from oil filter cap, only when bike runs.
2. I've filed about 1.4+ ( fcuu you old aged measuring cups) OIL,that's why when I parked bike for 2 hours and saw oil level, the whole round window was full by oil.
So now I should just take out some oil right..? Any easy way to do this. .?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Average life of Chain & Sprockets and Clutch plates is also 15000 KMS. Got to know this from 2 fellow riders with NS and also from Service Centre. Both of mine got replaced around 14000 kms ODO.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postguys what is the life of clutch plates and chain sprockets on our NS.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS
Lately I noticed while accelerating the bike kind of halts at ~9500rpm and then when i release the throttle slightly and again give the throttle, it reaches its red line arnd 10800 rpm. I was wondering, is there a problem?
