please dont give a wrong impression about ns at 132 its not stable i have done 141 in ns and my god this bike serves me well st those speeds moreover
1.a bald tyre can be the cause for stability issues
2.fork adjustment should be perfect... any bend and again stability will be less
3.keeping ideal tyre pressure mentioned by the company can help hope i dont see u again telling ns is unstable at 131[emoji52]

Hello all. My NS has done almost 21k and almost 2 yrs old. What is the life of the battery ? My bike still starts at the first press of the switch, no problems as of now.

Stable in a straight line versus stable on corners. I took a typical 45deg corner @ 105kph (NH) last time confidently. Don't compare 220, try comparing AS200, it has better wind shield. By the way, NS will be stable @ 130 if you dont get hit by any heavy head/cross winds considering the bike is in good condition. On a typical windy day you may not experience such issues post 120, but on a bit of heavy windy day and esp on an open highway without trees or buildings you surely will be put on trouble with speeds >120 on a naked bike like ns. But I've tried consistently 125kph on a windy day for >10 mins and all I felt was like wind trying to rip you from your path and your bike keeps dropping speed about 5kmph instantly and gaining back. I surely wont call it instability, but it's something our mid says "Am I losing control", but answer is no, the bike gains back every time when you get hit by wind, at least that's how it works.

A week back, took a 170KM hard ride on NH with took 2h:10m. Top speed was like 125kph, and average speed was 80kph, maintained @ 110kph (7K RPM, 6th gear) strictly and i find that a perfect speed range, well suited with less vibrations, did almost around 35kms in 20 mins time. I had a big bag fastened to the tank, which helped in blocking some wind hitting on my face, hence I found that ride very comfortable even when I touched 120 on speedo, but I myself wanted to be on safer side because I was over passing many cars very faster and hence maintained 100-110 mostly. But trust me, whenever encountering small villages, surely I had to drop to 80 or less to make sure no one is jumping around.

With Fairing models, you will experience this less. but say what, you can gain about 10-15kph cruising speed on a FF bikes over naked, that's it, nothing much.. and oh, have I forgot to say?, In India a full Fairing bike is always called sports bike irrespective of it's capabilities and rest all as commuters

Our roads are only as good enough to ride ~120kph, hence no point in trying to ride @130, 140 or above. Anything beyond that is simply not good for our self or others on road and NS is simply good to keep you happy at those speeds. This thought keeps me away from thinking about those 600cc super bikes

                  Hello GUys,

I am using NS for last few days to my office commute and I find that the gear leaver is ruining my dress shoes big time. NS save a lot of time compared to car in crazy Gurgaon traffic but need some solution on gear problem.

Anyone have done some DIY mod to put a old style gear leaver where you can increase gears using heel? Any other suitable mod will also do. Thanks in advance.

                  Regards,
                  Swapnil.

Man you are right 100~110 is sweet spot for 200 ns and wind is the main problem for stability on straight
it's something our mid says "Am I losing control" that's why i slowdown

To compensate that wind problem to some extend, I have ordered AS200 windshield which seems to be a good fit rather than fazer\cbr model, which any workshop can do it, drill holes and mount. The svc said it will take 3 weeks to get the item. I'm waiting. Let me post if done.

                          Guys need your suggestions,
I'm going for around 1400 kms long trip,
Ludhiana to Nagpur, which i will cover in 3 days to be safe, got my bike serviced around 1.5 month back and poured in motul 300v, till date have done just 800 kms,

So my query is that this trip can be done without an oil change as oil isn't very old ??
                          Or should i change it??

You've done just 800km on the new oil, that too Motul 300V! Your bike is ready for the 1400 km trip mate
Don't worry about the oil and just go, this oil should easily last you 4-5000 km.

                            Now some questions for you

                            1. Did you go directly from the stock oil to Motul 300V?
                            2. Did you feel any difference in the bike once you changed to 300V?
                            3. LOVE the bar-end mirrors! Where did you get them from? And was it easy to install?

Thanks in advance and have a great trip!

                              Thanks brother for advice.

1- I used bajaj oil for some 4k kms and after that i used petronas oil which was of wrong grade so changed after 1100 kms. Then used motul 3000 mineral oil for some 10k kms due to non availability of other motul oils.

2 - Haven't tested 300v on long rides as max long distance done in one go in these months would be 10kms, but i feel there is more mechanical clatter(than 3000)from engine in low rpms but engine revs very very fast and its like there isn't any friction inside.
It is really good at higher revs.
And it takes some time to warm up(2-3 kms)and start magic .

But i have used 3000 for a longer period of time and varying riding conditions and it is pretty good oil, its mineral but perform better than bajaj oil, plus it cheaper than bajaj oil.
Takes away vibrations of engine and last around 2000 kms .

                              Thanks.
