Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Guys wait for atleast 2nd service period to change the oil. I've been using stock upto 5k KMs and have not seen a big let down. Bike is smoother and some vibes at some RPM ranges. However I just would like to witness the so popular Motul 5100 oil. Khivraj warned of voiding warranty, but if done unnoticed, it should be fine. Firstly I will try with 5100 and later would like to switch to 7100 to check the differences.
Thanks friends for the info. Well, Has anyone from chennai sourced Motul?. Online costs are very high.

Yes, but the Bajaj recommends 5000KMs for the service interval. And know what, the newest dukes have 7000KM service interval, are they insane?.Originally posted by vivek7593 View PostMotul last longer
Wheb i was on stock oil it would lose its viscosity and turn blackish in just 1500 kms .. Past that ride become rough vibey and noisy to some extent .. Engine felt its been chocked in longer runs
On motul oil everything's is opposite of stock oil ..

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Went for 2nd service today , had to face Monkeys-with-wrentches at Service centre again
i took Motul 5100 along with me because i felt Dtsi engine oil was shit, Wrentch-Munkie refused to take the oil and said Warranty will stand cancelled if i change over to this engine oil. i thought he was joking, but few other of his fellow munkeys joined in and said same to me. even showed me wording in the service book mentioning it. i always thought one can change over to motul at service centre , also he mentioned dtsi engine oil should run for 10k kms!! i deceided to leave the ignorant place at that moment itself.
so i guess my only option is to get bike serviced outside, it makes no sense to pay just for Bike washing/chain lubing at Bajaj.200NS 25K kms / RE500 7k kms / Electra 30k kms / P150 80K Kms(SOLD) / i10 40k Kms (SOLD) / Tata NEXON 2K Kms

What a sense of humor bro. I can't stop laughing, nice wording... Better do that with a small workshop, make sure they do it properly.Originally posted by lnagr View PostWent for 2nd service today , had to face Monkeys-with-wrentches at Service centre again

If you don't utilize Free & Paid service from Bajaj SVC, then also your bike's warranty would lapse immediately.Originally posted by lnagr View PostWent for 2nd service today , had to face Monkeys-with-wrentches at Service centre again

My suggestion would be to find a good SVC.

Doesnt the Hero HXZ 250 looks kinda similar to Aprilla!!!Originally posted by R-series View Postwhy do you think that is so?
I don't expect anyone to find the RS4125 looking bad, with that underslung exhaust. And for people who find the Panigale 1199 ugly, I don't think the exhaust is one of the big reasons.
Also love the exhaust on the Ducati

6000 RPM is a bit on the higher side. Make it 5000.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostI do follow run in.but also started shifting my gears at 6000 rpm and varies the rpm a lot.is that okay?

Hold it, post 2000KMs, unleash the horses at your will.
If you are above 1500KMs, try start shifting ~500 RPM in increments every 200Kms. So by 2000KM, you should be able to completely break your engine. I personally started ripping post 2500KMs.

Today gave my bike at bajaj auto service banashankri for servicing
Man that place is flooded with ninja650's 😂😂
Guy named mani attended my bike and gave me confidence that bike is in good hands ..
He made out that i was a bit nervous to leave the bike.. so he said ill take video and show it to you next day of how servicing was done ..
Place does looks small but mechanic's are quite experienced ... never across such svc ..
