Would then try your suggestion of turning the throttle on a li'l bit. Right now, I'm loving the bike getting on within 2 seconds. Will update after driving the bike for sometime...Thanks.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
That indeed needs to be checked bro. I hope it does not shoot 1700 rpm, because if that happens, I will have to again reduce the rpm which may again take me back to square one.Originally posted by krixna View Post

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hi all, My bike is going to cross 5k. And the tappet noise has increased. However, I can give her the service only after a month. Now, what is my confusion is, the user manual says, tighten the tappet on cold engine. But the Internet says, it is just opposite. You may have tighten up your tappets, and got rid of noise. clarify my doubt regarding this. Thank you.♥ 𝙰𝚞𝚝𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚋𝚒𝚕𝚎 𝙰𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚍𝚘 ♥

You have to let the engine completely cool down before doing anything on the tappets. Don't even start your bike for a good 3 or 4 hours before doing work on the tappets. Thats why i do the tappet work myself or if i don't have time push the bike to the local mechanic (my mechanic is situated just 300 meters awayOriginally posted by Ashref View PostHi all, My bike is going to cross 5k. ). You could leave it at your desired workshop on the previous night and ask them to work on it the next day.Don't leave your bike's key with them. The clearances involved are extremely small and you cant set the gaps properly if the engine is even slightly hot. Setting them wrongly will damage them and lead to more trouble.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Never attempt it at hot. Best bet is to do it next day morning. You need to have the necessary tool set as well. Or you can take it to workshop and make them do it in front of you. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey friends,
Has anybody here tried the Viaterra Wolf saddle bag here? I was planning to buy one for my RS200 and this bag seems to be designed specifically for Pulsar NS and AS, so I think it would fit my RS too.

As the bag depends on the rear handle grip.
Which is not same in rs as in ns.
So srry it wouldn't.

Makes it hard for the pillion to climb on.Originally posted by rachitsharma2000 View PostThanks for the reply, but could you please tell me about pillion comfort with this saddle bag?

With a little compromise in left leg position it's a good go.
Pillions leg will be pushed a little front from the ideal position on the rear foot peg.
He/she will require to balance leg on the heel area.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Talking about engine oils today I went o service centre and have put the Motul 3100.what I really wanted to know if its safe to put it.is it a mineral oil and also should I go back to Bajaj dtsi until I complete 2000kms.
Currently its reading 800 in odo.
My concern is someone told me its not at all good for the 200 to play around with 3100 because it's a mineral oil where as the 200 comes with semi synthetic.please clarify

I had the Viaterra Velox saddlebags but they got damaged due to the friction with the exposed part of the tyre...Really miss a decent saree guard or at least something to prevent saddlebags from coming in contact with the tyreOriginally posted by rachitsharma2000 View PostHey friends,

So the Velox is a definite No!!
Got the Viaterra Wolf recently and haven't had a chance to test them out as much as I would like to. will post my experience here soon. Btw, the Viaterra folk are the most helpful guys in terms of Customer Service. If you ride solo, their Claw is a good option. My friend made a 10 day ride on his Inazuma and was all praise for it's utility. Won't work for me though as I prefer making rides with my partner.

You do not need a therapist if you own a motorcycle, any kind of motorcycle!

Sent from my CRXT 1125Q using xBhp Connect mobile appHi guys, wanted to give an update:Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostDon't worry much. Oil leakage will not be a problem unless you are off limits. Just make sure the oil is within the marks. But if you find this frequent say, every day parked at office or at your home, it needs to be checked, eventually you will lose the oil.
Few reasons
1. Too much oil
2. oil gasket or o-ring wear\tear
3. Poor service, resulting in improper bolting or screwing.
You can make sure from where you are getting the leak. Have these options in and approach the service center.

Right said Bro...!!!
Took the bike to the service center today and the guys there confirmed that the leakage was that of the the coolant because during the first service, the coolant was filled beyond the maximum mark, which might have expanded due to heat and leaked through a pipe (an outlet) he showed me from where excessive coolant is given out. So basically, the leakage had got nothing to do with the engine itself (or any kind of oil in the bike), which was a relieving fact. And there has been no leakage whatsoever in last 2 days, even when the service guys today revved the bike hard to take the engine's temperature beyond 90 degrees; there was not a single drop of leakage to be seen anywhere. Finally, the service guy removed the excessive coolant to reduce its level within the min and max marks. Thanks for your help guys.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Bro, stay with Bajaj oil until your second service. Don't rush and switch oil. Setup your engine first... If engine is set well, oil wouldn't make much difference. Fact is bajaj oil doesn't last till 5000kms as it suggests. 3000kms is fine..... Post 5000kms, you can change to 7100/5100Originally posted by xplod566 View PostTalking about engine oils today I went o service centre and have put the Motul 3100.what I really wanted to know if its safe to put it.is it a mineral oil and also should I go back to Bajaj dtsi until I complete 2000kms.
