Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hope your clutch cable free play is around 15mm. And water has not made it's way into your clutch cable and rusted it.Originally posted by krank View PostHello riders,
My first thread
I had many problems with my bike(3 months old now) and discussed here before. All the problems are going one by one, recently had the 2nd service. The bike sounds and runs awesome. Anyway, I can feel in the leg that the engine is heating a lot. But i thinks it is usual these days.
Now the only problem i see is the false neutrals only while shifting upwards. i saw an old thread about a RX100 with the false neutral issue -> help me-lots of false neutrals. It might not be because of my riding, because i was shifting smoothly before this rainy season, no false neutrals at all. Unfortunately my bike had stayed in the rain for a whole night and didn't miss any rain when i go to home every month (2 times), total 250+KMS for a ride. Simply me and my bike had so much rain and still more to come. So i feel this is the reason for my false neutrals. correct me if i'm wrong and also somebody please explain why it happens on a 3 month old bike.
I feel very sad when i stuck in N on a traffic
.
Thanks,

Is this the certification you talking about.Originally posted by Cleaner View PostI see no certification stickers on the helmet.
krixna it's not because of the weight, I know how good are people at in guessing weights.
Guys, go through every single post on this thread before coming to conclusion please.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Dude, FF350 hasn't been around for almost 2 years in India. Also, FF350 weights around 1600 gram, not 1300+-50 gram as mentioned in the back of the helmet. I say this is a substandard or fake helmet, LS2 itself doesn't look like a company whom I'd trust my head with.Originally posted by nikzcool View PostIs this the certification you talking about.

@princesirohi could shed more light on this subject as I was away from motorcycling community for around 2 years, so my information may not be upto the mark.
http://www.helmetsmanufacturers.com/ looks like their official site which ran out of bandwidth on the 8th of the month.Originally posted by krixna View PostNo bro. It's make is ARMEX
Could you provide me the BIS number of the ISI mark that is on the back of the helmet under the ISI logo?
It is a 7 digit number which is always preceeded by CM/L-
Edit: http://164.100.105.199:8071/php/BIS/...es.php?Id=4151
Lists all the BIS licensees under the category "IS 4151 : 1993 (Specification for protective helmets for scooter and motorcycle riders)" The company address is "Armex Auto Industries. Mr. Vikram Suri ( M. D. ) No. 10/80, Shankar Gali, Vishwas Nagar, Delhi - 110 032, India".
Filling the details there and clicking "Report" there sends to "http://10.53.100.10" which can never be accessed from public internet since that is a private IP address, that clearly shows the sheer incompetence of the server administrators.Last edited by Cleaner; 07-08-2015, 11:21 PM.I am back!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
You people here, are worrying about the LS2 helmets, whether it is original or fake. we here in Tamilnadu, buy fake home made "ISI " branded?? Helmets for 1.5k atleast. Only to abide by the law.Originally posted by nikzcool View PostHaha so you finally gave a me a good reason to get myself a new helmet.

My neighbor had bought this for 1.2k, which would never withstand even a small impact.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Well, recently regulations have become very stringent and even a TVS champ guy with loads of groceries for his small shop wears the helmet and sweats in hot sun (somewhere in a small town of mine). Well, many see only ISI seals and who is validating that beneath?. For those good reasons many simply buy known brands like Vega, Studds. BTW, recently my father-in-law bought one unwillingly for 1500/- for a vega full face helmet with coolers. Oh yes, it did look classic.

My clutch is applying from the tip, so i think the freeplay is really much less and the situation is, i already visited the svc many times in these 3 months. so please suggest me a DIY to adjust it myself and how can i check whether the clutch is rusted or not. never done any repair on a bike before and didn't want to ruin my first bike myself. please guide.
Thanks,Last edited by krank; 07-09-2015, 12:35 PM.
