  • Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences

Is it necessary to avail all free and paid services to claim for warranty?
One of my friend suggested me not to give my bike for 3rd free service (currently 2 service done), because those people will ruin your bike as they know that you won't be coming again for paid services. Is this true?
I am also not comfortable with giving my bike for service to svc because they do not perform the servicing well and upto the mark, they don't know much about NS's engine much.
Is it mandatory to get paid service done, or should i give it to a good local mechanic (suggest me if there's any trustworthy mechanic in Navi mumbai area).
    Awaiting replies! Thank you!

It is like that in my bike too. If you are talking of the radiator fan, don't worry. Under normal conditions, the wind blowing through the radiator (when the vehicle is in motion) is enough to keep temperature under control.

I don't mean that gap between disc pad and the disc. But when I push the disk side wards, it rattles. While riding on uneven roads, it makes a slight but non ignorable sound like Thad Thad!!

Firstly the manual says that all the free services should be done timely to avail the warranty.
Secondly its depends on how friendly is your SVC is in this matter.
In btw where do you stay in Navi Mumbai?

Get those six socket screws holding the disc tightened - immediately!

Thanks for the reply. I could take it to SVC only tomorrow. But, the Allen screws go inside the disk. Is it possible That spacers are missing?

No spacers are used. The screws hold the disk so disc is flat at surface level and hence they go inside the disc. Simply tighten the disc screws tightly is soon as possible.

The screws can become loose if the disc develops warpage due to several reasons. Or, it developed warpage and brakes begin biting. Guy took it to svc. No spare. Mechanic loosens all screws a bit so that disc adjusts itself while braking, without biting.

Yea, there is no spacer in btw. Just put in the screws and torque them after seating the disc evenly (by mild tighting of screws first in sequence)

Bro, I stay in Vashi. Actually one of my friend has a NS200 and he services his Bike from a local mechanic in Vashi itself.
I'll be getting my new bike at the corner of the month of June.

Thank you all. Got it fixed. My rear brake had near zero bite previously. Now its bite has improved.

Brothers do our bike start while both slave plug wires are disconnected and only main plug connected?

For that matter, it will start with any one plug working. I checked

                                Thanks for replying brothers.

Mine cdi was gone, so changed it with a new one and now bike is not revving more than 7k rpm. Have changed both slave plugs but master one is old and have not checked it,
And bike is not starting while master plug is connected but is starting if any one slave is connected.

So its just plug gone kaput?
