      This forum has helped me a lot. My bike's console, lights up the battery charge warning, engine oil, coolant temperature warning lights, without any reason. They all light up whenever the ignition is on, but not while riding. Is there anything to do with the console?

        That is because everything is wrong when the engine is off! when the engine is running, they don't light up if everything is ok

          I suspect, only my bike is like that. What about yours?? I have owned a Pulsar 200 Dts-i and never had a problem,except some minor niggles.

            Dont worry too Much... This is just Fine.. These lights lit up in all NS while ignition and once the bike starts running they go off except that Bajaj Flying Logo...

            If they lit up during riding then it means u have problem...

            NS is one gem of a bike.. Go and Enjoy ur riding....

            P.S : Read the Service Manual, it'll give you some idea about the bike's normal conditions

              GUys I am getting an Engine Oil pressure low symbol even though The Oil was topped up in front of me by a mechanic I trust.
              The Engine Oil That I am using is Motul 7100.

              Any idea why this might be occuring....?
              P.S. I use 1.2 ltrs of engine oil.

                  Your oil filter may be clogged. Make it a practice to change it for every alternate oil change

                      I too had same issue. It went away when I changed oil filter. Also they said there was more than 1.2 litre oil in my bike that time. So I changed oil also.

                      Though not sure if more oil will bring up the oil pressure warning or not

                        Thank you! I don't have the user manual with me. Only that I have is in Pdf form. That too is for single tone pulsar 200 NS. Usually I won't refer it. I had to search for fuel knob position of new pulsar 200 NS online. Anyhow, will look at it when required. Thanks again. What is that metal thing on the rim?

                        Ps: Got a Custom made Tank Cover. How's it?

                          That metal thing attached to the rim is a balancer. Even a car have it. Well not all of them.

                          It help balancing the wheel and the steer when driving

                            Today something happened which is not very common with Bajaj ASS.

                            Took bike to local Bajaj dealership which is really small and only stock platinas and discovers.

                            As my bike was misfiring and not revving freely so the only mechanic there checked it and told me to pick in an hour.

                            And went there after hour and he said me just check the bike.

                            It is back to its revvy nature ,
                            Even with my old cdi there is no problem.
                            On asking what was problem he said AaP Aam Khao!
                            Paid him 200 rs and really satisfied by his attitude toward customers and his knowledge , treat bike as his own and even talks with them.

                                Try a small tank cover dude... This one makes the bike look odd.... To be Honest it destroys the beauty of the Meaty tank.

                                Regarding the console, the older and New NS doesn't have Much a difference except that the side stand indicator is in the LHS of Tacho in old one while we have it in the display itself
