Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey friends, got my bike serviced today, odo 24700 kms, 2 years of my NS complete.
Changed all 3 spark plugs,
air filter,
oil filter and engine oil Motul 7100.
Chain cleaned and lubed,
Total cost 2100₹
Now the smoothness and raw power of engine post 7k RPM is back. May be due to new spark plugs and new engine oil [emoji4] Engine still just like new. Love it revving hard every time I see an open road.
Tyres are due for change before monsoon. Still running on stock eurogrips [emoji16] Enquired at 4 tyre shops here but no availability of 130/70 section rear tyre.
Planning for a long trip after 3 months. Before that steering cone set, front fork oil and clutch plates needs to be changed. Anything am I missing to get changed/serviced?

Where is this SVC and what was the name of the mechanic?Originally posted by maninderz View PostToday something happened which is not very common with Bajaj ASS.
Took bike to local Bajaj dealership which is really small and only stock platinas and discovers.
As my bike was misfiring and not revving freely so the only mechanic there checked it and told me to pick in an hour.
And went there after hour and he said me just check the bike.
It is back to its revvy nature ,
Even with my old cdi there is no problem.
On asking what was problem he said AaP Aam Khao!
Paid him 200 rs and really satisfied by his attitude toward customers and his knowledge , treat bike as his own and even talks with them.
Great soul.

I too wanted a tank cover, but then you know, it ruins the look of the bike. Later one day, I can replace the whole case if there are too many scratchesOriginally posted by aryapradana View PostThat metal thing attached to the rim is a balancer. Even a car have it. Well not all of them.
It help balancing the wheel and the steer when driving

Thanks Buddy. I will order one, BTW, can we keep our mobile under seat and continue driving while leaving it to charge?. I mean, will it fit without damaging the mobile?. Because on long travel, we cannot park the bike and wait for it to charge, right?Originally posted by chinna_rao View Post
Also how much time did they take to send the package?.

Just chill brother, there is no problem in washing your bike, my old mechanic was fooling me to make some money and i was dumb enough to rely on him.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
If both left and right are out, it is connection problem. If only one side, then the LED is out... has to be replaced. Can be done by some electronics guyOriginally posted by optiprime View PostIs switch backlits repairable?? I went to svc ,they say i have to change whole switch set though all switch are working fine.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Why do you care much about one led bro?, In my opinion and observation, I have not given concentration on those LEDs when riding or parking... Not sure if all works in mine. Im sure, that I didn't check that after I got the delivery (I stared it many times at first when I took delivery
)
That's just me....

Those are wheel balancing weights.Originally posted by Ashref View PostThank you! I don't have the user manual with me. Only that I have is in Pdf form. That too is for single tone pulsar 200 NS. Usually I won't refer it. I had to search for fuel knob position of new pulsar 200 NS online. Anyhow, will look at it when required. Thanks again.
What is that metal thing on the rim?
