    Slipper clutch and fi are 2 different system
    There's no point in comparing them !
    Fi is electronically controlled ..

    While slipper clutch is mechanical mechanism !

      So there is no way to get this done, I mean, there must be something or somehow because both bikes 200NS and RS200 share identical engine and transmission......because only thing by annoys me in my bike is related to the carburettor replace it and the bike is a total package full paisa vasul

        40000 kms ownership update:
        The bike still runs smooth, gives consistent mileage and keeps the rider engaged with a lip-smacking ride experience thanks to the performance mods. The engine mods themselves are 24000 kms old and running like new. Kudos to Race Concepts @JOel.

        List of performance, functional and aesthetic mods on my NS:
        * Ported head by Race Concepts
        * UNI pod filter, direct mount to the carburetor with a 120 mainjet and stock 15 size pilot jet (done at home) and a sponge crankcase breather.
        * Single piece handlebar with a custom crossbar and custom raisers
        * Tail tidy
        * LED indicators
        * 3M tank decals
        * Extreme weight reduction - 7 kilos less, due to absence of heavy stock clipon handlebars, tyre hugger, saree guard, pillion grab rails, airbox, lighter clamps everywhere.
        * Vibration damping using old tube rubber on all bolts on plastic parts.
        * 140/60-17 size rear tyre for undergearing effect, for a small improvement in acceleration and reduction in top speed.

        Some pics:

        The filter mod done at home:

        P.S btw my slip-on exhaust, Simota stock replacement air filter (race concepts) and a 15 pilot-jet & 117.5 main-jet are for sale, anyone interested, PM me at 7411330251 for more details and price.

              Thanks ,but you're not the first one to say so..

              So today something filmy happened to Me. I was going through ITO bridge and saw a beautiful lady walking down ITO ,I mean at 1200noon she was trying to walk through the long bridge with some artifacts, esp paintings in her hand.
              So , my inner gentleman (or mech engineer desperation) made me brake hard (was doing 115) and ask her for lift.
              Seeing me all geared up ,she somehow got scared and very politely denied the offer . I wouldn't blame her thanks to Delhi environment and me looking like a Just robbed a bank kinda fella with all gear +esp balaclava. But I'm not the one to be refused easily. So I expressed my "concern"( desperation to have someone on rear seat of this wonderful bike ,which is empty from 10 months ) about her safety that how walking on ITO is dangerous as a pedestrian and the scorching heat of Sun will possibly give her fair skin a very bad tan (this specific point did 40% of the job ).
              But still she politely said ,thank you but I'll manage.
              I was almost hopeless and sad about the wonderful opportunity to know that girl which I'll miss thanks to ongoing Delhi rape thing ,that suddenly my mouth blabbered and I said -
              Yaar I really want to give you lift so that I can get to know you better.
              #God knows I said that very loud that even the other side ongoing bikers were able to listen with ease.
              She was stunned for a moment and I was like
              WHAT the f DUDE, she is going to call 1098 and report my ass (she stood there for a moment) .and she didn't replied,however as a cop car looked like approaching us ,I quickly pit on my lid and started my bike to take off (Delhi police k dande bhaut lajabab hote hai) .
              Then suddenly, out of nowhere ,she asked me to hold that painting she was carrying(I was giving the electronic cut off switch a twist ) and next thing you know, out of the blue, she hopped in.
              It was kinda very filmy experience for me ,as I got to drop her two block away from her house and came back with a applause, a name , a number and a 90% possible good relationship unless I don't screw it up on next meet.
              # disclaimer, it was the first time a bike helped me to get to meet a girl (big for me ) Nd I cannot share this on Facebook, or with extremely kamine friends (will do after everything is rock solid ) nd that's why sharing it here to tell all you guys that

                        Hi guys,
                        Bike is 10000 km old. just got it serviced. I happen to go on a long ride just before service and oil was pretty old and i was on Bajaj oil after 2nd service. My engine felt more throtty as compared to my friends Ns which is 2k old. Red lined it all the way and his bike felt more smooth. All thogh my bike had no compromise on performance. i just feel like my bike is more revved beacuse even after bike service it did not feel so smooth. and i also notices that around 9k rpm the Rpm needle vibrates a lot. Need some input on why its happening?Please help guys.

                            Used choke by accident (was keeping the cleaning cloth in that gap) for the first time in 2 years of ownership and when I took off ,man it wasnt my bike.
                            Nit even 0.0001% gear shift harshness
                            Nill vibes till 115kmph. (Didn't went further ) .
                            Bike was performing like 1-2 bhp had increased.
                            Smoothness was equal(yes I mean equal, not at par ,but perfectly equal) to Yamaha r15 till 110 kmhr, well after that the r15 dies so cannot comment.
                            Apparently, last time also changed my petrol pump in first time of ownership, earlier bike used to do 215km in 500₹ petrol, now it does 260km in same.(accounting the depreciation in prices ).

                            • Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences

                              Unable to quote all those who asked queries regarding the UNI air filter, so am making one post about it. The job is not as easy as it looks. I had to alter the filter a little bit so that it sits tight on the carb mouth. There is practically no air filter out there which will smoothly slip onto NS carburetor. The rejetting has been done to a 120 main but stays on the 15 pilot jet.

                              The greatest gain out of this filter has been the midrange, i.e between 3-8k rpm. There is a gain in the top end torque as well, but since this is a naked bike, top end is something one shouldn't bother too much about. Reg the fuel efficiency, I've had an average mileage of 35 km/l and before modding my average was around 40 km/l. The compromise is acceptable because, the fun factor of the bike is much greater.

                              Some attributes of this filter which any aspiring buyer should know are:

                              * The filter is available in different sizes, one with a size bigger than the carb mouth and some, smaller. I'd recommend not to buy a bigger filter, because even though the fitting becomes very easy, there are chances that air might leak in or the filter may pop out during hard riding. A small filter's rubber walls need to be altered with a basic box cutter and needs to be forcefully pressed onto the carb mouth. If the job is done neatly, the filter will sit very tightly on the carburetor and wont pop out under hard riding. The jetting and tuning should be done right as well:

                              * It needs to be cleaned and oiled every 1500-2000 kms.

                              * A new crankcase breather has to be made with sponge every time the filter is cleaned. The sponge layer needs to be of around 2-3 mm thickness and should sit on the pipe extending from the crankcase. Make the sponge layer too thin and the air filtration into the crankcase wont happen properly. Make it too thick and the crankcase gases wont be cleared off and in the long run, expect a busted head gasket, improperly lubricated valves, or in the worst case, piston shatter (yes, it's happened). Maintaining the right air pressure inside the crankcase is very important.

                              * In my personal opinion, UNI pod filter is the safest exposed filter out there, since it has a double layer of sponge. Sponge is arguably a better filter compared to the metal mesh of a Simota or the metal-paper combo of the k&n, especially since the sponge layers are nearly 20 mm thick all around it's perimeter. Flow wise, I'd vouch for a k&n more. But the engine wearout matters in the long run as well, and UNI checks all boxes perfectly.

                              * The air filter & carb will be accessible by hand once it's installed, since there is no box in the way:

                                Anyways, now I'm following up the issue with Bajaj's customer care, will see what happens.

I got the NS with MRF by evening.... I think he just take advantage of our desperate situation. Anyway... do talk with Bajaj customer care and let us know what is there position on same.
