our bike has an oil filter too so u need to change it at every oil change. spanners needed are 17-18 ring spanner & 8 T spanner . chain cleaning is dangerous ,as some negligence can cut your fingers . while cleaning the chain never ever start the engine & put in gear. applies to chain lubing too .

It is always advisable to change the Clutch and the pressure plates together. Check the cable play too, a tighter cable will keep the clutch engaged. I suggest you take it back to the mechanic and ask him to rectify the fault.
Thanks Bro for yr inputs, the actual problem was clutch cable as you mentioned.. But I had to get all clutch plates, pressure plates, oil, oil filter, clutch cable replaced. 2400 ka fatka..

Hello guys, until yesterday am a proud owner of NS,
Mine is 2 weeks old with the odo reading of 350. Today suddenly the bike refused to start. Initially the electricals are fine, when i press the ignition switch everything went off. During the repeated attempts the electricals are not at all working. The nearest service center is 20 kms long. Sorry for the lengthy post expecting help from the seniors. TIA

Seems battery issue. Check the voltage of the battery and tightness of the connecting terminals at battery end, if that is ok then check other wiring harnesses.

If you can't find the culprit then push start the bike and make it to nearest SC.

                          Hello brothers.
I own a Pulsar 200 NS 2015, just completed 14 thousand kms and i am having a rear break issue with my bike. I'm pleased to know what might be the reason behind this issue (problem explained below)
The rear disc rear brake of my 200 NS 2015 model works well every time. I usually stay and ride in a place where there is no traffic where i do not need to use the brakes continuously as there if no much traffic. But in July this year, i rode to Hyderabad with my brother as a pillion and there was bumper-to-bumper traffic and as i was riding in that heavy traffic since an hour where i was using the rear brake mostly. As i kept on riding in heavy city traffic, i felt that the bike was not stopping even when i was applying the rear brake & i felt that the rear brake had failed as the brake pedal was not responding and going all the way down. Then i stopped the bike and checked if there is any problem, i felt nothing was bad. Then right after 5 to 10 minutes, the brake started working fine. Then i thought it was some heating issue and just forgot about it.
But this happened again few days back as i was riding in Hyderabad city in bumper-to-bumper traffic using rear brake and front brake and as i had to take a flyover, i took it and was riding at a high speed around 96 kmph and when i saw a bus ahead of me, i applied both the brakes and again suddenly, the rear brake did not function (the brake pedal was going down like broken one and bike was not stopping) but somehow, I luckily managed to slow my bike with only the front brake. Then, again i stopped the bike for 10 minutes beside the road and the rear brake started to work fine. Can any expert please reply to my query? What might the problem be and solution for it? The disc oil is full, the disc plate and pads seem to be fine as there is no sound from the rear disc side of pads being worn out. I would like to say that i was fortunate that i escaped a major accident the second time. I am also pleased to know that did anyone faced the same problem?
Waiting for your reply. Thanks in advance

                            Hello
The problem seems to be the rear break master cylinder acting weird , have you ever changed the break oil ?
keep at least 8-15 mm break play this will avoid the break to be stressed full time . Try to avoid only rear break use, front rear break in 70:30 ratio .
if nothing works , have to change the rear master cylinder , costs some 500₹

My NS gets at best 31 kpl, with low revving in traffic, and sometimes up to 26 lol, on average 29kpl, what's the issue here? Is it a carb setting? Are the orifices to big by manufacturer default? Should I just replace the whole carb?

I keep wondering if I got a factory sample bike or something.

So at 3000kms, my 2017 NS had worn through all it pads. They were overtightened and so were even clinging to the disk all the time.

Then just now at 14k, another pad is finished at the rear. Not both, just one. And when the bike moves it makes a funny vibration via the right peg. Just like something is not moving right. But the rear disk is not warn at all since I've not used it. Wondering what the issue could be. Any help?
