Needs Volume Control Screw to be readjusted, it is also known as AFR screw. Adjust the clutch. If you pressure wash your bike, clean the hobs of the spark plug on the right and left side.
If that doesn't solves the issue, check the following:
    1. Airfilter
    2. Valve Tappet Clearance - a tight intake or exhaust valves do cause the issue.
    3. Dirt or residue in the fuel tank.
    4. Carburetor cleaning.

Hi guys, I have got 2017 200ns which has done 10k kms, I will clean the chain and use motul chain lube every 600kms. I think the chain got lose as I get chain noise though I have maintained properly. Is this a problem with all 200ns. Should the chain adjustment also to be done every 1000 kms?

Yes bro, you should keep an eye on your chain slack. Adjust and tighten it accordingly. Make sure both of the numbers match in the swingarm or else the tire alignment will change.

thats totally normal, most abused part in our bike is chain , get it adjusted . Even heard of changing chain set in 8000km , ask any dominar or duke 390 owner . In that regard rs is better

Is there any other chain upgrade which can be done to fix this?

Since the discussion is going on about chain, let me as this question which I have for a long time. Why are bike manufacturers not providing a rubber belt like Harley instead of this irritating metal chain?

Right now it is running on Bajaj oil , he said during the service he'll change to motul oil and do full engine service so we'll get to know more then will update in another 2 months or so .
So, this past week, had left the bike previous weekend at the mechanics, picked it Monday, after carb cleaning and a bit of adjustment of AFR to 2.5 turns.

Bike seemed back to perfect performance. Remained so all week.

Yesterday went camping some 130kms away with friends. Coming back today, the power disappeared at some point. Going up hill, a gentle one, bike was struggling to keep 70kph. The power pull one feels at 8k+ rpm disappeared. It was all the same. Bike won't hold past 100kph again. Just does 92kph in 6th gear.

Just wondering what could have changed so soon. Anyone with any help?

Fuel maybe? Or residues in the fuel tank? Petrol filter can also be a reason. Not to forget, water can seep into the sparkplug connectors too. Did you change the air filter?

Thanks for responding. So this issue had previous come up at 7k Odo, though not this bad.changed fuel and air filter at 9.5k. currently at 12k.

I'll watch it now that it's at empty again, after the next top up. Water in spark plug noted. Will check that out. Intend to work on it myself in the next few days. Can't keep up with cost of having it checked.

Whether you have checked your carb diaphragm? Teared diaphragm may lead to performance drop

Just change the oil seal and it'll be fine bro. Costs very less too.

Don't worry, unless your bike had a bad fall there's no need to worry about the steel tubes.
