This is how I understand it. Any NS200 BSIV owner can corroborate.

My ns200's chain is getting ti8 & loose during the ride. The chain & sprockets r new. The old chain & sprockets has this similar issue thats y i changed them but still the prblm didnt get resolved. What will be the prblm? Chain slack & alignment is correct. Is there any issue with swing arm bolt?

              Check for any seized links.

If you rotate the wheel while on the main stand and observe that the chain is going up and down then that would mean that a link or few might've seized.

What do you use to lube your chain?

Its just NS's manufacturing defect because I too experience the same even though i have replaced swing arm, rear shock, front cone set, lower t.

130/70 rear tyre have large road patch , so the effect is more prominent .

Oh my goodness, that's some long list of parts you have replaced. Any idea what it does mean wheel alignment for a bike? For cars it's a common thing, but for bikes?

Okay. My bikes wear pattern seems more pronounced than this. May be due to more number of kilometers clocked ... I'm not sure

                                Hello guys!

Its a pleasure to be part of this forum & this thread! Am from Coimbatore, TN. I just got my new NS 200 a week ago (09, Nov, 2018) after read ownership reviews from this forum. The reason for my choice was I damn liked this muscular design & I wanted to experience a 200 CC power and performance as I already have a Pulsar 150 (2004 model). I appreciate all the participants & the forum admin for providing a big help & awareness for other riders like me. I just wanted to share my experience and to have cleared some of my queries!

                                Initial experience

The delivery was fine from JaiKrishna showroom located here in Saibaba colony as I could get my hands on the vehicle within 4 hrs after making payment. I tried for MRF stock tires but there were none in their lot & they also told me that they got my bike out of their fresh recent lot on that day. So I took the vehicle by evening as they said they can only do the RTO formalities by next week (14 Nov 2018).

Initially the riding experience & handling were bit new as I had to adopt myself from my Pulsar 150 handling but I could get used to after few KMs. The bike felt very solid on the road even in the stock tires but as I read many posts about those ZEROGRIP stock tires I planned to replace them in a few days. I really felt happier about my choice as I really went mostly for the design part as I didn't even have a Test drive. But the performance & handling on corners - Oh My GOD! it was like its just doing an auto pilot job as I didn't have to handle it much despite the weight of the bike. The engine felt very smooth & refined! It was superb! I have just clocked around 200 Kms only so far & Oh Man its really really very hard to resist reviving this bike untill the break in period! I really feel complicated to ride it under 45 KM/h with 6 gears. so am just using 4 gears only for now.

When the RTO formalities completed & I went to the service center to top up the coolant as it was just only above the min level when delivered. They did it fine without any charges. On that day I went to my familiar tyre shop here about consulting on replacing the same. My choices were ContiGo , Michellin & CEAT(as I had good experience with my old pulsar 150). The guy told me now a days all Michelin tyres are made from TVS at madurai plant except the radial ones. Anyhow their radial thing is out of my budget as they quoted around 8k for both front, rear & the rear radial is not available for stock size. ContiGO - they too didn't have the stock size for rear! But i really don't know whether I was too concerned about up-sizing tires. So finally they showed me CEAT ZOOM XL for rear 130/70 17 & CEAT Zoom Plus F 100/80 17. They quoted around 4500 Rs + 200 Rs labor. At my surprise he offered me 2k on exchange of my stock tires ZEROGRIP as many of the tire dealers here said no before that. So I finally went on with it of paying remaining 2700 Rs.

I feel the difference in handling & grip better than the stock ones as when I was riding with them when we do cornering or ZIG ZAG it was like I almost felt on the road. But now when I do the same I could feel the tires holding me there & kind of flexible, planted on the road. Braking felt good! Anyhow am waiting for the 1st service & 2k ODO get completed to go on a long trip!

                                So my queries are

                                1. when I talked with the ASC guy regarding engine oil he said now they use full synthetic oil Bajaj DTSi 10000. I really talked him out of it about using Motul 7100 after 2k ODO but he simply said I should concur the warranty policies( I got 5 Years of warranty) so entitle the same. so I should only use that bajaj oil for the 5 Years or 75000 Kms to avail the warranty. so guys please help me out what can I do now? is that bajaj oil really bad to the engine?
                                2. Another thing i noted is when starting the bike, the IDLE RPM stays at 1.5k but after a while riding it comes to 2k - 2.5k. is it normal before the 1st service?
                                3. Please shed some thought or point me to the thread on breaking in guidelines for ns 200 as I really don't know how to concur what their manual says - it mentioned to ride within 45 Km/h at 6th gear.
                                4. And when I ride in a closed roads on both sides I could hear the chain railing sound - is it normal?
                                5. When they fitted the tires they didn't add any tubeless liquid - should I add any?

Thank you! looking forward to your help...
