Make sure the engine oil & coolant level are correct before taking delivery as you can top up if they are less at the time of delivery itself. I got mine last Nov 9th while I had to ask them to top up the coolant level to MAX!

Me too! I had the ZEROGRIP tyres as stock but I replaced them with CEAT ZOOM series after 15kms!Originally posted by Rav23cbzx View PostPurchased my bike on 28th November got my bike reg.no on 30th November
Paid full cash 1,30,222 OTR for white abs model and 745rs for saree guard, leg guard, seat covers and no.plates(50 percent discount)
Damn! I got the euroslips...the uncertain wait as told by official from Pune(who had come for the dealership anniversary)
There was no white coloured bike except one(dent on tank) with mrf, made me take the bike
Now m regretting as people had strongly warned against eurogrips on the flipside they last quite long though as they are durable as reported.
You may ask at any multi branded tyre shop to replace them as they might buy back them for a price.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Just wanted to know, 2nd service at 10 months - would it void the warranty? Because I thought they mentioned 3 months or 4500kms whichever occurs first for 2nd service on the mana I hope.Originally posted by dantu.bharadwaj1 View PostHello members,
I had purchased my pulsar NS200(Standard Version) 10 months back. I have clocked about 4500 kms as of present date, and the second service is due. Out of 4500 kms, i have covered about 2500 kms purely on highways. I have travelled from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam and back twice till date on my NS200. I like all aspects of the bike; its looks, power, acceleration, console, mileage and the like. But one thing which i would like to change is the way the bike performs on highways. I find the following things in my bike absolutely **not** confidence inspiring
1) I find the bike tends to get somewhat shaky after 100 kmph. I wear good quality riding jacket and helmet so i don't feel the wind blast very much.
2) I have observed very often that if i overtake heavy vehicles (Trucks etc) at speeds above 80, the bike wobbles till the time i move ahead of the heavy vehicle
Is this something which can be fixed (By myself or by the service center)? Am i riding it in the wrong way? Or is this how a naked bike performs at high speeds?
As of now, I am considering to go for RS200/R15 V3, but i am very skeptical that a faired bike would solve my problem
Any suggestions / opinions are welcome

I use the bike very sparingly. When I took the bike to the svc for 2nd free service, they said that since i was using bike very less, there was no point in getting it free serviced until it reached the desired number of Kms. They just tested the bike once and gave it back to me
Any suggestions/opinions on my questions?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
in general shaky or wobbling of bike usually depends on many factors such as your riding posture, the road quality, your bike's tyre quality, unusual side wind blasts, etc.Originally posted by dantu.bharadwaj1 View PostSamy_jk,

Do You always end up shaking while crossing 100kph regardless of the type of road & wind blasts?
What brand of tyres you are having now?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey Guys!
just wanted to know about using premium fuel for my NS 200 - is it worth?
I heard somewhere that higher octane fuel would help the engines having compression ratio above 10:1 - is it true? Any one have experience on this?
please share your thoughts.

Good advice...in my case it's even below half of minimum and maximum markingOriginally posted by samy_jk View PostGood luck with your new brilliant machine!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Ideally, the fluids like engine oil and coolant, they should be between min and max markings. Don't go crazy with keeping the level neck to neck with max. It's always better to have it between min and max.

Since your bike is new you can still go and ask the SVC guys to top up the same for free. BTW how many miles have you done so far?Originally posted by Rav23cbzx View PostGood advice...in my case it's even below half of minimum and maximum marking

My friend with dominar and purchased from same dealer said, his coolant level was like mine on delivery but top up was needed only in second servicing..Originally posted by Zapps View PostIdeally, the fluids like engine oil and coolant, they should be between min and max markings. Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Guys..
I've got my friend's NS(44300 kms done, from 2012) for a week and I took it for servicing.
I now see oil from the belly area and it does emit fumes after riding it for a couple of kms.
Engine oil remains good and in same colour as poured 100 kms ago.
Used Motul 5100 this time.
Need help since this doesn't look normal.Regards,
Akash Yadav

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey all.
Got my NS yesterday.
Everything seems fine.
Please check the Engine oil level and advice.
Service Center guy told me it's properly only.
So, 2 pics. 1st one taken with side stand and the other with main stand.
The one with main stand on show oil level at 25%
Is that how it is? Or am I just panicking?
Also saw a dominar with same engine oil level as my NS

The ground surface may influence the reading in the glass. Check it on a level ground. Make someone sit on the bike. Hold it perpendicular on the ground and then check the level.Originally posted by lokeshc View PostHey all.
