Just remove the rear seat with key
Then unscrew the 2screws of rider seat take out the seat.
Then gently remove the side panels.
Then disconnect the coolent overflow pipe.
Then remove the plastic tank cover after removing the screws.never apply any force if the cover stuck somewhere.
Then disconnect the fuel gauge wire.
Then turn off the petrol supply to the carburetor by using the fuel Knobe.
Then disconnect the fuel supply pipe.
Then remove the screws of the airfilter.
Now you are able to change the air filter.

Does anyone in Bangalore do these kind of custom jobs for NS200? Luggage racks and top boxes?

Saw the white-gray NS at a showroom in Bangalore today. Looked descent. Although I preferred the original full black version.

Dealer quoted an on road price of about 1.15L. Ex-showroom price was about 97.4k.
Price looks a bit expensive compared to RTR200 which has quite a lot of good features.

Ns is definitely worth the money, no comparison between Rtr200 and 200ns .
                  Features NS offers,
                  Liquid cooling
                  6Th gear
                  More power.

                  Cheers.

                    Agreed.
But I was expecting some major kind of any update with respect to previous version. Atleast adding full digital console, and giving options for FI, ABS.

And I'm not very happy with the updated paint job [emoji52] I liked the original version better. But anyway, looks are subjective.

I think its an extra choice for people, duke200,rs200,rc200 all have fi, some people who does long tour prefer carb, more reliable, easy to fix, pocket friendly on maintenance too.
Otherthing what i personally felt is, i myself own a RS200 which has fi, i have raced with many 200ns (with riding gears and on open roads)
Although after 120kmph NS won't keep up still, till 120kmph its built up speeds pretty quickly, ns uses one of the big carb possible for that 200cc bike ( heard from somewhere)

Yes fi has some merits too,
Better top end pull and better fueling on hilly area etc.

And if you have ridden a ktm 200, you will understand, its pretty hard to read the RPM, when you realy want to go fast, anlaog tacho just makes it easier to read in a glance.

                      Cheers.

                        Hi,

I have been looking for one past few months, but whichever shop I've been requested they are all like, only bulk order accepted and asking for 14K per set. But I pulled up my socks and went to some local shop and we made one and costed around 2K. For me , I dint need a big one , but a small rack on which I can carry the ruck sack and helmet some times. Anything can be done in Bangalore bro :P

                        • Pulsar 200 NS riding issues while speeding

Hello everyone. There is a problem with my pulsar 200 ns facing since a long time.
While speeding the engine rpm gets stuck between 6-7k then kicks at 8k where the full torque comes in. On highway the speed stucks at 90-93 kmph & 6k rpm, it stays there untill I shift down and speed hard so that next gear should come above 7k rpm. While reviving engine it goes normal.

I've read so many posts here but coudn't find the solution, the same question was also raised by other member in very old threads but there was no ans for it.

I have consulted some mechanics and service centre all says the different problem.

-Bajaj Service Centre, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai- They said that the problem might be with the Carburetor jet.
-Bajaj Service Centre, Bhopal, M.P- Carburator Butterfly problem, not going up for fuel intake ( may be something stucking in its movement of up & Down). *I really had no idea about what the service mechanic said*.
Local Mechanic in Belapur. He suggested to change the Petrol Filter which is situated below the fuel tank.

I hope my problem is understandable.
Please guys help me out. I hope my carburetor could not have any major issue.
                          My first post on XBHP.
                          Thanks & Regards,
                          Adnan,

My rear brake pedal has gone too much squishy...
The play is too much and i have to press the pedal all the way down for braking...
Is there any way to tighten the brake pedal?
