No hard feelings dude! =) This is just a discussion. That's what forums like this are for - exchange of ideas and opinions.

I feel a slight sway on my pulsar 200 NS to the left side..Could anyone please help me give info for any place that repairs fork bends and an estimate around kasturinagar. Also could anyone please give me the symptoms of fork bend?

I read on your website about the front sprocket cleaning. I wanted to ask which tool did you use to open front sprocket main cover? Asking this here, as the reply will be read and will be useful for other people too.

By the way, nice website and blog.

P.S Plus as a credit, I would like to mention his website to others. Do take a look.

IIRC, it's an 8mm hex socket bit attached to a wrench. Something like this....

There are 3 bolts to remove and you can then simply pull the sprocket cover off.

The first thing I'll check is that BOTH the left and right chain tension sprockets settings are IDENTICAL. A mismatched setting will cause alignment issues that lead to that "slight sway" you experienced.

Hi guys, I would request the experts here to share your opinions on a few points I have. I know they might have been posted here several times but I don't have the time to read 2000 pages. Request you'll to help me out for the following points.

                1. Tyres that are best suited for both city and touring. I am not much of a tourer but I would like to have some good tyres that can handle high speeds while maintaining a good confidence when we brake.

                2. Oil - I have completed just 7100 kms on the ODO and would like to change the regular oil to a semi synthetic or fully synthetic. Experts plz guide me here.

                3. Is installing a visor in the front recommended. I have had a lot if discomfort while riding at high speeds on the highways due to the wind blast. Was thinking if anyone here has installed one and does it fit perfectly or do we need to do some mods on the bike to get them installed.

                4. Are the NGK spark plugs really better than the stock ones. Any recommendations on the same please.

                5. Finally is the K&N filter worth it or should I keep the stock one. I would like to have a good performance overall.

I love this bike but my knowledge towards the internals is very minimal. Request you'll to help me for the above points. Thank you.

Not an "expert" myself, but I did read a lot of posts/reviews for the same questions. So putting up what I know.

                          1. No idea. Sorry

                          2. Motul 7100 20W40/20W50 depending on the maximum temperatures at your city.

                          3. Not much necessary if you are not a tourer. For occasional trips you can rather opt for a medium quality riding jacket. That will give some protection from cold winds.

                          4. No idea.

                          5. I have read in the same thread that K&N filter is not recommended, and the stock one works just fine.

Recently I got my Activa exhaust pipe coated for rust in Honda showroom. They used some powder coating. it looks good, but dont know if the same would suit for NS. You can just check once with them.

Can I use feviquik or something while the engine is cold? The local mechanic recommended me to do this. He said if he will use other sealant, it may create a blob which will look bad.
If not, can you suggest something easily available or some cheaper option?
