Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I had the same issue. It was related to the carb - but will have to pull my service records to know the exact resolution. I also had my fuel lines and fuel filter replaced since I had crossed 25,000km by then. Will try to get back to you in a few days.Originally posted by Adnan.shah288 View PostWe are so busy watching out for what\'s just ahead of us, that we don\'t take time to enjoy where we are ~ Bill Watterson

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
You need to replace Diaphragm. Costed me ₹1k when I had this issue (ODO was 10k). Having the same issue now with ODO at 30k+. Pl let me know the solution, in case its not replacement of Diaphragm.Originally posted by Adnan.shah288 View PostHELP HELP HELP
Hello everyone. There is a problem with my pulsar 200 ns facing since a long time.
While speeding the engine rpm gets stuck between 6-7k then kicks at 8k where the full torque comes in. On highway the speed stucks at 90-93 kmph & 6k rpm, it stays there untill I shift down and speed hard so that next gear should come above 7k rpm. While reviving engine it goes normal.
I've read so many posts here but couldn't find the solution, the same question was also raised by other member in very old threads but there was no ans for it.
I have consulted some mechanics and service center all says the different problem.
-Bajaj Service Centre, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai- They said that the problem might be with the Carburetor jet.
-Bajaj Service Centre, Bhopal, M.P- Carburetor Butterfly problem, not going up for fuel intake ( may be something stucking in its movement of up & Down). *I really had no idea about what the service mechanic said*.
Local Mechanic in Belapur. He suggested to change the Petrol Filter which is situated below the fuel tank.
I hope my problem is understandable.
Please guys help me out. I hope my carburetor could not have any major issue.
My first post on XBHP.
Thanks & Regards,
Adnan,

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey,
I'm planning to purchase a Pulsar 200NS 2017 edition. I wanted to know your opinion on whether the bike will be fit for me.
I am 6ft tall, like comfortable rides with a straight position. I'm used to riding automatic scooters and want to upgrade to a bike. I don't like to ride fast or anything but I want a sporty looking bike with good low end torque (for city riding). Not too expensive on maintainence either.
Please let me know if you think NS200 will suit me.
Thanks!

NS is very much suitable for tall riders. Take a test ride before you book the bike.Originally posted by nsp92 View PostHey,

Frankly speaking ns sucks on low end but high-end tourque is awesome bike pulls like a rocket after 6k rpm [emoji173]Originally posted by nsp92 View PostHey,

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
But is it good enough for city riding? I need to drive 60℅ of the distance in slow moving city traffic and the rest in almost empty highways.Originally posted by kany1991 View PostFrankly speaking ns sucks on low end but high-end tourque is awesome bike pulls like a rocket after 6k rpm [emoji173]

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
If you think about it, as long as you're comfortable, ANY bike is good enough for slow moving city traffic - including the 100cc mopeds. It's the highways that the smaller capacity and underpowered bikes won't keep up!Originally posted by nsp92 View PostBut is it good enough for city riding? Coming back to your original question, I'm 5'11" and ride the 200NS. I find the riding position very, very comfortable, and have even taken it on a SE Asia tour through 6 countries, covering 11,000km over 49 days. In fact, when in Thailand, I rented a Honda PCX150 scooter while my 200NS spent a couple of days at the workshop, and didn't like the PCX150 at all. Yes, the PCX works brilliantly in city traffic - due to the automatic transmission. But I started getting quite bad backaches over longer distances (yes, I traveled out of town with it).

Pulsar 200ns is only for the highways and for the everyday city traffic ride.you have to maintain 3000rpm to ride comfortable.Originally posted by kany1991 View PostFrankly speaking ns sucks on low end but high-end tourque is awesome bike pulls like a rocket after 6k rpm [emoji173]

Bajaj Pulsar 200NS Decal Replacment
Hi Everyone
I have a blue and black Pulsar 200NS and sadly when i parked it in a train station parking lot, some idiot who owned a splendor who i Parked next to, scratched the left hand side of the tank, scratching the gorgeous blue decal. But thank goodness the decal protected the paint underneath.
I love to maintain my Pulsar at showroom condition and I am itching to get it fixed. I need a new decal set for my pulsar to replace the scratched one. Any idea on how I can go on that? If someone can point me in the right direction, please Do!
Thanks

Yes. Its pretty much flick-able on the City traffic, the only issue is making U turns since it has a huge turning radius.Originally posted by nsp92 View PostBut is it good enough for city riding? I need to drive 60℅ of the distance in slow moving city traffic and the rest in almost empty highways.
That's one hell of a travelogue mate, enjoyed your blog !Originally posted by sgbikerboy View Post

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Thanks for the suggestion. I just don't want to struggle in bumper to bumper traffic that's all. And I'm sure I won't go above 80Kmph even on highways. So, top end speed is not of utmost importance to me. A stable, smooth running, easy to ride bike is what I'm expecting out of the NS.Originally posted by sgbikerboy View PostIf you think about it, as long as you're comfortable, ANY bike is good enough for slow moving city traffic - including the 100cc mopeds. According to the bajaj app, LH tank decal is available for sale. It's part number is been shown as JL233003. It must be available at your local bajaj dealer.Originally posted by FalseChard7808 View PostHi Everyone

However such minor spares are difficult to get hold of as dealers might not stock them.SOMETIMES,

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 200NS Decal Replacment
Thanks Mr. Nair, I will take a look. This isn't the first time i had to do this. When I had a Bajaj Discover, i had to go through hell just to get a Yoke for my accelerator, through official channels. Guess, i'll have to do that again.Originally posted by Santosh Nair View PostAccording to the bajaj app, LH tank decal is available for sale. It's part number is been shown as JL233003.
