Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Feviquik is NOT recommended. Just use some oil-resistant black silicone sealant. Whether you'd create an ugly blob or end up with a nice job depends a lot on your handiwork skills. Personally, I'd first try using some black electrical insulation tape and wrap TIGHTLY around the area. Then finish it with a small black cable tie to hold it in place. Hopefully it provides sufficient seal.Originally posted by Santosh Nair View PostCan I use feviquik or something while the engine is cold? The local mechanic recommended me to do this. He said if he will use other sealant, it may create a blob which will look bad.
If not, can you suggest something easily available or some cheaper option?

Is there some form of luggage box available for NS200? I don't use pillion seat most of the times and I need a luggage box to store my helmet and some other stuffs. @any1991, G@auravD and @vvk1999 krixna @sharadh @vivek7593 @powerShift @NitSpeed200 Itzli deep007 Durvesh jbm_guy

You can mount a top box AND still have enough butt space for a pillion.Originally posted by Sherl View PostIs there some form of luggage box available for NS200? 30~35k for everything you see in the pic. For individual parts it would be cheaper. Give Bhushan a call.Originally posted by Sherl View PostWhere can I get them? How much do they cost?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Has anyone had to change their rear monoshock? I am having this unusual issue with my 200ns.
Background:
I was not able to use my 200ns for a l-o-n-g time (~1.5 years) for various reasons. Tried starting the bike but even the battery was dead; so tried pushing the bike and starting it but of no use, hence got it towed to the service center.
Now I got it serviced with a hefty bill of rs.9875
, battery, spark plug, piston valve, steering cones, oil (ofcourse) being the major contributors.
After the service the engine sounds just like how I remember it to be, purring like a cat.
Before leaving the bike unused for so long, I had got my shocks to the softest possible setting (again for various reasons)
Issue:
Now I had the service center guys change the setting to the default hardness setting but it is still very soft and bouncy. So I got it changed to the hardest possible, but its still very very bouncy. The service center guys informed me change the shocks.
This is the first time I have ever had to change shocks! I have had a Fiero which ran for more than a 1 lakh km with a lot more abuse but never had to change its shocks.
Question:
Does changing the shocks sound right? How much would it cost? And can I get only the coil changed?
Does anyone have a clue?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
If it's too bouncy, change it. Try to push down the bike by applying pressure on pillion seat. If it goes down easily then it means the shock is damaged or else if the rear side bounce too much in a cornerOriginally posted by sandysend View PostHas anyone had to change their rear monoshock?
