Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I have aux projector lights on my NS. they are those kinds which have a clamp instead of a screw going through and have been fitted on the crash guard. Run a wire with a relay and a 5A fuse to a switch and then to the lights and a ground. Plus, you could hard wire them to only run when the ignition is turned to on. Will help you guard your battery from fiddlers ruining your battery.Originally posted by vRide View PostI have seen a bike(200ns) with auxiliary head lights on handle bar in Bangalore(kormangala area), could any one help to get the details and its model and how the installation is done?

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
There is oil leaking from the left side of the engine where few wires come out, it's called the magnetic coil or something, I informed the service guys, they put some adhesive but it doesn't seem to work, there is still oil leaking, any solution?

My bike has the same problem. I enquired about it at SVC and told me to change the starter plate, with that the rubber grommet would get changed. That grommet is not sold alone and one would have to buy the starter plate kit.Originally posted by levintt View PostThere is oil leaking from the left side of the engine where few wires come out, it's called the magnetic coil or something, I informed the service guys, they put some adhesive but it doesn't seem to work, there is still oil leaking, any solution?
On my bike, the engine oil leaks only if revved above 6 or 7K RPM, that too is not much. I have been using it like this since 2 or 3 months and its fine.Vrooming Soul..!!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
So, I waited a few days to see if I got any response from sending an email to bajaj customer service. Now, I have filled the complaint form you guys pointed me to. I have received a complaint number. Let us see what happens. Will keep you posted. Thank you for the adviceOriginally posted by GauravD View PostOn a personal note, do not wait for a response from Bajaj because you may never get one. Atleast, I have never got a response from Bajaj. Instead use the link and put in all the relevant information and vividly express your dissatisfaction and see how things move.
I got a call from service center within hours of lodging the complaint on the website. And remember, the service center will try to coax you into closing the complaint on the website. Just stand firm and do not agree to close the complaint till the time you are fully satisfied. Remember any complaint lodged downs the reputation of the Service Center with the company. Make full use of it.

I have seen somewhere in this forum that using FS oil may cause leaks and I personally agree with that though I don't know the credibility of the above statement.Originally posted by shrey1992 View PostMy bike has the same problem. For Me, Leaks started happen after I shifted to MOTUL 7100.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Some synthetic oils (depends on composition) eat through rubber. And that too, only through second quality stuff. So if your luck is bad, you have rubber parts in your engine that cannot withstand a FS oil. Seal and other rubber part manufacturers for the engine now make rubber stuff compliant with FS oil, but you can never rule out possibilities of bad ones creeping in. Say, a batch of seals with wrong rubber composition due to some fault in the manufacturing process, which also bypasses the QC and ends up with Bajaj.Originally posted by Gowty View PostI have seen somewhere in this forum that using FS oil may cause leaks and I personally agree with that though I don't know the credibility of the above statement.
