Hello again guys. I did an engine oil change on my own. It went smoothly, or i thought so. Today i noticed a small amount of oil near the oil filter housing, just below the lower screw. I cleaned it up and went for a small ride. After returning, the oil was there again, albeit in a very small amount. I checked the screws of the oil filter housing, they were tight, but not too tight. I dont know what to do now. Should i remove and refit the filter lid? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Ps: the oil level is slightly above the max level.

Slightly above the max is alright for the leakage open up the oil filter lid and refit that it might have not seated perfectly.

Thanks Ujjwal for the prompt reply. I had a doubt. If i open up the oil filter lid, wont the oil spill out? I am new to the diy stuff, so thats why i am a little apprehensive. Hope you understand
        Thanks again.

clean the engine (the casing part where oil got accumulated) with cloth and keep a bowl below filter opening. so that oil spilling can be collected without getting dirt in it. dont open the lid completely. just loose it a bit, place it correctly. then tight both the bolts simultaneously. by simultaneously, i mean don't tight one completely and then switch to other.

Oh! I did it the wrong way i guess. I tightened the upper screw completely first and then did the second one. Maybe thats what screwed up my otherwise perfect diy. I will try this tomorrow. Thanks for the help

Bhai not yet... I am first clearing and sidelining issues one by one, the asc is doing it free of cost for me. So yea.. If things do not improve then i will ask for a carb change which the asc owner has already agreed to.

For future reference bro ... If you open up the oil filter lid with the oil still in the engine and your bike on the side stand all you stand to lose is about 25 - 30 ml of oil in total which you can the refill by checking in the oil level indicator window.
