Well said...!!!

For danny king, NitSpeed200, GauravD, kany1991.... What vivek7593 said is most probably right. When I opted for NS, the sales guy suggested P180 (was he out of his mind??). But there was a point for him to say, he wanted to flush out some stocks. I think P180 doesn't sell much these days and he wanted to try it on me....!!! How could I let that happen?. The only reason I started liking the name Pulsar is because of "200NS" only. Good for vivek7593, they suggested P220 at least.... Anyway I was very strong on my words for new (not on stock) Red NS with MRF .

Bajaj assumed their own model can cannibalize the new products. This is valid point, because from manufacturers point of view, a poor entry sales in the market will consider the model as poor or bad. And as of now, the report says that RS and AS sells well, not AS150 though sadly. Even Bajaj has started exporting RS200 now. But the point worth noting is, that P220 still sells ~8000 units per month.....what de... !!!!

Actually Motorbeam site is very friendly and being run by young enthusiasts. They said the plan is to halt to boost sales and it might or might not come back. But what they are backing up now is that NS may be stopped permanently and Bajaj might bring CS200 to replace the naked segment. Because a naked street fighter is must esp when a heavy competition from TVS Apache 200 (with dual-ABS) to be launched in few months is getting ready to rock the streets....!!!

So my hope is, Bajaj might resume NS with a bit of refreshments or bring CS200 and surprise all of us. But 25bhp Apache 200 ABS will Pirelli stock be a deal breaker....!!!

Good even if they don't resume NS production. We can get the exclusivity and become unique. Check KTM twins, CBR twins, all almost look the same. It's only NS that today remains unique. Don't worry about RS200, Bajaj has RS400 in pipe.
Now isn't that cool...!!!

That keeps my spirit bro...!!! Because I had seen some spy shots of RS400 (confirmed it as 400 as it had ABS on rear, otherwise no way to find). But rest all remain the same...maybe rear tires couldbe a 140/150 section.

I think RS has 65W high beam (as per website). Can you check for AS?. Anyway can't take it straight away the numbers. But I hope them to be same almost.

Absolutely bro, exclusive and unique. Even after 3 years, my NS still makes people take a good look at it.

I just go to ASC to buy things. My bike has never seen the service bay of an ASC after the 3 free services.
There is a mechanic in my town who is like a specialist with NS

As you can see in the attached picture that the RS 200 uses both the projectors at high beam i.e. 55W + 60W = 115W, and has the same battery as the NS/AS, so you can use both projectors of the AS.
Maximum wattage that this battery can support is approx 120W.

Does it dim on idle?
I guess bajaj might have made some changes in alternator of rs to support the headlight setup ..
Because on ns headlights dim on idle .. By dimming it doesn't dim that much just a little bit .. Both on low and high beam ..

Strange, my ns didn't fluctuate on idle or during ignition, but after the projector setup it fluctuates once at ignition and still nothing on idle. Moreover have seen or guys posting ns with 100w bulb getting a bit of fluctuations in idle.
