Bike running pretty smooth. Just two points of concern:-
            1. Downshift is hard (should be rectified during 1st service)
            2. The coolant level...when engine is cool is exactly at the min level...and when hot, its just below the mid level.
and i rem that when I took the delivery it was at mid level when engine was cool. So it shouldn't have gone so low in this little time. There hasn't been any leakage either.

Presently 480kms on the odo. Will go for the service after the svc re-opens.
What about yours? Problems solved or still waiting?

the kanjoos dealers put the least amount of coolant they can in the bikes. Better top it up with another 100ml or so or to the max level when the engine is cool. it costs only about 35rs or so.

i am from hyderabad and i am planning to buy p200ns this dussera or diwali. i recently had a testdrive at varun motors hyderabad. the bike felt nice the engine was too responsive, the gears were butter smooth(i had a false neutral once though). The horn is on the lower side but decent. i heard from lot of people in the internet that the tyres are not good so i enquired about the same with the dealer. i spoke the showroom manager regarding the same and he enquired with some one and said that if i am interested they can change the back tyre to mrf zapper free of cost.

i am a novice when it comes to biking knowledge. i need some help from the experts here

                    1) is the mrf zapper/ brand tyre a good replacement?
                    2) i was told that the bike is 98800 on road , is it reasonable in hyderabad? (any hyderabadi ..)
                    3) what are the present major issues experienced by current the p200ns users? are they rectified in the new lots or should i wait for the 2-3 more months ?

                    4) please throw some light regarding the checks to be made by the user before taking the delivery of the bike.

please help me out. waiting for yours answers.

How much better(in terms of %) are they when compared to the stock Halonix bulb?
And is there a lag/delay when switching between high/low beams?

I guess YES, and since you are getting it free of cost, its worth I feel.

                          2) i was told that the bike is 98800 on road , is it reasonable in hyderabad? (any hyderabadi ..)

The issues are varied from machine to machine, some complain about false neutrals, some about fuel indicator, some about vibrations, some about low mileage... But believe me none of them are a deal-breaker.

                          4) please throw some light regarding the checks to be made by the user before taking the delivery of the bike.
Check for 1. Scratches, 2. The tyre (gives you an idea about much it has been used, 3. ODO for sure ) . Other members can add more details here.

please help me out. waiting for yours answers.

I'd advise you to go for Mrf revz instead of zapper. Zapper isn't that good in terms of grip on all surfaces and I think I've read in the CBR250R ownership thread that they are prone to punctures.
But if you are still going for zapper then make sure its the same size as stock. I guess Zapper Q is the only one which comes in that size.

Don't spend the money on teflon. Buy a good wax and apply it yourself.

i'll get my new front disc after a month... The noise increased a lot and it comes to the handlebar as a dhak dhak vibration... Gear is butter smooth but while downshifting the lever becomes free... And lots of tappet and timing chain noise from the engine...engine is noisy but there are absolutely no vibes... Butter smooth.... I'm running on a new tuning during the pujas...lets see.. Its a more leaner tuning... I always run a bit lean... Touched 100kmph at 6.5k rpm in 6th and 125kmph at 8k rpm both with a pillion and pulled the entire strip in 6th gradually... those new tyres did take its toll on performance and mileage...

                              • Im sorry, but i think i dint follow the thread too well... are you riding with a damaged disk plate ? could you explain what is the damage ?
Im only asking because, riding with a damaged disk plate is risky right ? especially when you will be getting the replacement only after a month.

                                Cheers Mate
