I am posting some more pics.

Pulsar 200 NS does not have a Centre Stand. You can fix centre stand later on. As of now centre stand in not available but it should be coming in a couple of days.

Gears shifts are smooth as of now and hope it remains the same in future too.

      Choke is manual.

Bike starts without choke in morning.

hmm..my bad,i tried looking at the first pics and couldn't spot one.

Phew man..!! That's lucky, no scratches..!!

Hey bro, ever considered removing the mud flap at the rear after the monsoons ?

And i do personally think the key could have been a better design..!! Doesnt this somehow looks frekishly similar to the classic pulsar models ?

C'mon bro, waiting for a customer centric review, parts quality, ergonomics, how it behaves in traffic, heating issues or anything ?

Well today i shot a mail to Bajaj for the Rear Mud Flap. The 2 part mudflap is not great as during rainy season the bike gets spoiled a lot. They will have to consider for a single full Mudflap at the rear i feel. Service guys told me that they are facing the same problem with duke and bajaj guys have promised for a solution on that front. Service guys told me that i can get some extra fitting done on the rear mudflap and it would be fine but i need to check that out.

Will update you guys once i get any reply from them.

Is it the bajaj guys who have told you about the delayed launch due to testing??
I have seen many high funda launches during the last few years, but have never seen such through testing!!!
Was just reading the M&M XUV 500 threads in TBHP; (since i booked one on 8th of this month).. There also someone said that XUV was planned to have thoroughly tested allover India, but they didn't do that due to meeting high demand, and thereby the owners of the first lot had to face many niggles.

Hope not to find such issues in 200NS, sice I will be buying it in the First lot Itself.

Will keep the radiator thing in mind.
BTW, what make are the tyres? Did the dealer gave any option on the tyres?

AND PLS PLS PLS, dont give your bike for s test ride to others at least till the run-in is complete. AND NEVER to such guys, who does'nt know how to handle a bike...Oh sorry, BEAST.!!

              That's great news bro..!
Do check that all the sensors are working correctly though, from personal experience, the svc guys have a habit of disconnecting some sensors and wont connect it back, thus we wont get warned of any potential problems, happened to me on the air filter sensor.

And finally great to hear about the engine refinement.
But i will wait till you finish the run-in, i want to know how the bike behaves in the higher range of the RPM, the mid range punch is what i'm really interested in.

JK, we will test it out buddy, just hoping you'll get your fast..!!

Wait a minute, so your saying that even with the 'mud flap' on the rear the bike is spraying mud water all over the rear ? That's a rather worrying aspect particularly in the monsoon, bro even if you are going for some jugad technique for rectifying it, unless its a clean fit do not proceed with it.
It's a new bike, don't let the svc guys experiment with it. And needless to say, when giving for service , do stay with the bike, specially it being a new model , itll attract all kinda unwanted attention from mechs to on lookers.

You have no idea brother! To know more, read the http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/226...confirmed.html thread. Especially page 23 onwards.

Hey BRO, if you look, i am quite active on the above thread as well.

I said the same thing which have been discussed in that thread.
I Said that i am impressed by the THROUGH testing of 200 ns by bajaj.
And thus there will be less chances of any niggles coming out on release.

However will also like to add that the delay in release that was done due to the testing was very frustrating.

BTW,@chintan99 i very much liked the bike's side profile pic with u on it. Truly looks like an imported bike.!!

                        Thanks in advance.

When the radiator fans starts it blows out hot hair and that time u feel like its little hot. Bajaj guys had told me before me booking the bike. They told me that don't feel there is problem in the bike and it is getting overheated. They also said that its same in Ninja. They said if your bike is getting overheated it will display it to you on your Screen.

heat issues like duke ?? worries me ? its primarily the reason whyI didn't book duke.. coz I drive 100% in city everyday to office of about 40km..

are you facing any heat on your legs? or bike gets heated up after driving an hour or two ? I know you didn't ride above 40/50 much..but still a query..

the display on the screen won't help when you are in the traffic and under the sun

                          • I am not aware of duke coolant leak. As of now I am not facing any coolant leak

Feel the heat on legs. I drive around 25-30kms daily in city. And I am not aware of heat issues of duke so can't tell u

                              • Tyres are eurogrip tyres. Dealers did not give any option of tyres. Eurogrip tyres are hard component tyres. I also read many articles on net saying dealers will give option to upgrade to soft component tyres and they named mrf as second option. I asked the dealer for the same but he said sorry sir there is no option available.

I used to interact with bajaj guys every week and was aware at what stage the bike was though due to reasons they could not disclose the exact reason at times but u can make out what could be the possible reason. The guys with @ bajaj were very helpful and I am sure that if there is any issue in the first lot they would solve it out.

Well while taking delivery of ny bike there was a minor scratch from the dealer on the part above headlight which I pointed at delivery and was suprised to see them call me up next morning and saying that your part is here please come and change it. Was very surprised with the service of the dealer.
