Guys please make this a habit of your for everyday bike riding, always have one car length between you and other cars on roads and at least 2 car lengths when going on hills coming up or down this will always insure you don't get hit by other cars and trucks. Also let other bikers go if they want to in front of you. It's better someone who is an idiot then someone who follow safety first.

Nope. The FI version is supposed to be launched early this year but nothing is concrete yet.

FI version would kill rs 200 sales so they probably will drop it later this year or next

Ya bro best is to take to SVC.problem is the front fork and t stem.if there is a small misalignment then you wil face handling problems .
Also one more req.since its in insurance you might get around 80% of metal parts.if he says there is the slightest bend of fork or t stem just change it.they will say they can repair it but it is never 100% reparable .might cost u a little but trust me its best to replace it.saying you from my personal experience [emoji6]

I have heard about motul but if there are any others, do let me know.
                Thanks
I use kerosene and a toothbrush, bike on centre stand, 1st gear, 2K rpm. Kerosene is poured in drops over rear sprocket, brush is placed at the bottom side of the chain, where you check for slack. Place the brush on sides of chain too. Note: Machines have no mercy. Be careful with your fingers.
Stop the engine and wipe chain with clean, dry cloth after running the kerosene procedure for 2-3 minutes.

I think Motul chain spray is the best chain lube available. But I'm an eco-friendly guy, I use coconut oil I have been using it for more than a year now on NS and the chain is as good as new.

Edit: keep a small bowl of kerosene to dip-clean the brush in between.

I was also inclined to using kerosene and a toothbrush. And thanks for the safety tipwill be careful while doing it. And coconut oil? Thats a first. Used for lubricating your scalp as well as your chainMultipurpose oil for sure. I will give it a try for sure. Will be much cheaper
Thnx for the help! Really appreciate it

Thats a possibility. But in my opinion, both the bikes cater to two really different groups of people. Naked and faired bike enthusiasts. Eating into the sales of pulsar AS seems more probable to me. So maybe thats the reason for the delay. Who knows. Just food for thought

Today I changed my bike's engine oil, first I poured exactly 1.2 ltrs then I started the engine and idled it for some time kept the bike straight but there wasn't any oil showing in the inspection window then again I topped up 100 ml of oil and repeated the same procedure then also I can't see any oil in the inspection window. But when I tilt the bike to right side the level starts to rise...?? is it normal?

Bhai once you have put in 1.2 litres you dont need to worry. Do not start the engine if you want to check the volume of the oil through your inspection window since all of the oil is being circulated in the engine when the engine is on. You may wanna think about pulling out about a 100 ml since excess oil is not good for the engine.

When you switch on the engine, the oil goes into the engine and lubricates it. At that time, you wont be able to see any oil in the window. The oil comes back into the window only when the engine cools down a bit. So, after idling the bike, you would have to wait for some time before the oil reappears in the window. Also, you have to position the bike in an upright position to check the oil level. If u have a centre stand, park your bike using it on a level surface. Normally, roads are banked towards the edges. So you have to find a level surface and then check your oil level. Hope it helps
