Which are the best tyres for heavy cornering? Basically need a good grip. I am planning to burn the factory ones before i go for new as they are only 5000kms old and still look like brand new.

1. Allen key setOriginally posted by rohanm123 View PostAre there any recommended tool kits to carryout DIY stuffs at home?....(description of the tool could be of great help like the size).
2. A multi screw driver set
3. A open end spanner set
4. A ranch and socket set
5. Multi meter
6. Insulation tape
7. Could also get a solder kit
You're all set mate.. Spares and double sided tape would be a useful addition

In addition to the above, ring spanners from 8 to 15 will be useful. Also, the below link will be useful if you are an off-road, adventure guy. I got punctures twice in the middle of nowhere and this saved me!Originally posted by rohanm123 View PostAre there any recommended tool kits to carryout DIY stuffs at home?....(description of the tool could be of great help like the size).

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
30% shows the height of how much they steal from us in the name of tax. I bought some programmer unit for 25$ through ebay.com from China. Was worried if it'd be caught under customs, but luckily it didn't. Rather I'd buy Yi camera through ebay.in or get it from my friend in US amazon.com and bring it along. Yi costs about 75$ plus 12$ for complete accesoriesOriginally posted by sayantan View PostHello vivek,
If you ship by dhl then there is no way of avoiding the customs. They will come to the delivery address with a receipt and you have to pay the amount to get your product.Customs is about 29.4%.My camera has reached Chennai post office and i am waiting to get it.Will let you know the exact amount i paid after that.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Hey bro.. dont worry about finding the size. Just walk into any hardware store and ask for a spanner set. All the sizes you need would be in it. Would cost approx 500 - 600 per set. I would recommend the open mouth spanners vs the closed ones since there are some areas a closed mouth spanner would be utterly useless. Get on ebay / flipkart and look for a ranch and socket set under hand tools. Most of the times you would not be using anything more than a 12 size socket unless you decide to open up the rear tyre nut using it, in which case, God bless you!Originally posted by rohanm123 View PostThank you Gaurav...Could you please let me know if you have any idea on what sizes are needed for the below:

The other option provided as a link in the previous post is also a good option at 600 bucks however it is only for general stuff, if you wanna get your hands dirty then I would recommend a full fledged set of each.

Hey guys... over the weekend I installed a voltmeter to my bike and I was wondering if someone has kept track of the voltage supplied by the battery under the following conditions for reference -
1. Engine off / key on
2. Engine on / lights off
3. Engine on / lights on low beam
4. Engine on / lights on high beam
Would really help me keep track of what to expect in terms of voltage.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I am facing this problem from past couple of months and am not able to find a solution to it. The problem is hiccups and jerky feeling at low rpms and at high rpms also, due this problem I can't ride at any constant rpm. After tunning the carb several times nothing changed so I got the following things done:- Carb cleaning and tuning, tappet setting and and changed the air filter too from SVC. But still the problem persists. Any solution?[emoji20]

Difference in cold and hot rpms ?Originally posted by Ujjwal96 View PostI am facing this problem from past couple of months and am not able to find a solution to it. If yes : Lean mix
If no : Perfect Mix
Also do you find rpm dip while you brake swiftly ?
If yes : Vacuum leak ( Will require one more test to conclude )
If no : Perfect
Was timing ever touched ?
If Yes : Check for timing
If No : Might need to look into something else or its perfect.
NS runs 3 spark plugs, so 3 coil wiring going to it. Check if they are in good condition. Although it looks to me more like carb issue.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
In cold rpms it is more evident and in hot rpms also its there. But its kind of inconsistency felt below 4k rpm and upwards of 5k rpm. I doubt that there is a problem with the chain because I have witnessed an inconsistent chain noise at speeds more than 70 which occurs at and north of the 5k rpm..???Originally posted by RohIIT View PostDifference in cold and hot rpms ?
