No issues at all bro... I am able to see the console without any restraints whatsoever.Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostThanks @sayantan. I've always thought Aliexpress is a whole sale ecommerce agent and will not ship single item ;-)
I had choices between SJCAM 5000 wifi and Yi. Ignored GoPro for it's cost and just a minute image improvement.
But Yi seems budget friendly and I don't have a monitor/TV to play beyond 1080p. Yi costs 88$ + 12$ accessories in US. But anyway without accessories it costs 6.3K through ebay which seems good because delivery is hardly 3-4 days.
@kany1991, Thanks for the link. Added to cart, looking for some coupons
. I don't need the stick anyway, what I need is mount. bro any link for waterproof roofing or accessory that will fit with gopro stickers/adhesives?. Checked Amazon, but couldn't find anything better.

The welding rod finish levels are neat and the way you have placed the pipe to help unblock the display is a wise idea. Good work bro. Where do you stay?. I'm interested in adjustable lever mods, do you have any idea where they do it?. I just don't trust random road side workshop for that. Maybe have to check GP road, but that's way too far to travel frequently.
Don't know if GauravD has any tough time in seeing the console when sitting upright.

Usually, to speak in terms of electronics, a blown capacitor or a malfunction can cause the circuits to charge up slowly. But a completely damaged cap will break the circuit. So I believe something is wrong with the dashboard electronics. Did you make sure your battery has enough juice?. As far as I remember, older NS didn't allow console to turn on without engine ignited (not just the key, maybe to prevent excessive discharge) because (I remember some Ns fella long back said this) the console lights, display with parking alone took just 23 minutes to completely discharge 12V-8Ah Battery
, hence Bajaj purposefully didn't allow console lights and parking lights to turn on without engine running.
So, do you still get digital display, tacho needle swing along with lights? or just light comes up, but no display at all?.
Critically analyzing the work done by bhai's guy, the only drawback of the angular setup vs the straight setup which i have is that 1. I am not very comfortable with having the welded look bang on in front. 2. You might need to reach over the bar for the ignition (bro would be the best to comment on it though)
P.S. Sorry for quoting the whole text guys. Was using my phone and was not being able to delete the sections.

I would suggest if you are not in a hurry get all your accesories from Aliexpress. They have a good variety.I stay in Nungambakkam.I actually got this rod done in westbengal when i went for holidays.Sorry i dont happen to know anyone in chennai.I happened to also put the charger in the front brake light area.Instead of the front brake lights it charges i connected the charger but in a good way it charges only when the bike is running.Would anyone happen to know how to connect it to the starter motor?

Actually the reason for the angular setup is for putting the key and not to see the setup and due to the colouring it does not look very odd.i am also thinking about putting a gel seat for long rides.it is a DIY.has anyone modified their own seat?Originally posted by GauravD View PostNo issues at all bro... Search this thread for few posts that described a gel seat - buy and use type. It is sold by RedLinePlus.in Automotive Products Web Store - RedLinePlus.in Web Shop and they have the arrangements in different configurations:Originally posted by sayantan View Post....i am also thinking about putting a gel seat for long rides.it is a DIY.has anyone modified their own seat?...- Kit for DIY by you
- Kit for DIY by themselves
- Purchase stock seat and do the mod and send to you
- You send the seat they do the mod and send to you
- Strap on gel seat
- Gel seat cover - tied up - for specific models only.
After following up for option #6 where they did not have any P200NS visited them so far and hence they did not offer option #6 for me. Then I have ordered option #5 and awaiting the delivery. I feel this (the above options from #2 onwards) is better than DIY because of the spray glue I need to buy. Finally I started to like my choice which i had to adopt because of the fate. The silver lining behind the option #5 is after spending close to Rs.3K it is not stuck to my P200NS any more. I can use it on any machine and can be on and off as well.
I am not in any way attached to shop.redlineplus.in other than spreading the news and goodness I came to know and enjoy to others.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
It's fine bro. I can help you reach out if you need any info/help here in Chennai. @GauravD and @sayantan, this seller sells this gel pad. They have recently introduced a new seat cover + memory gel pad which are readily to fit and will not look weird as well.Originally posted by sayantan View PostActually the reason for the angular setup is for putting the key and not to see the setup and due to the colouring it does not look very odd.i am also thinking about putting a gel seat for long rides.it is a DIY.has anyone modified their own seat?
As I've been craving the get it fit as my butt gets hurt nowadays even for an hour journey.
I asked them yesterday if such is available for 200NS, AS. But he said that they couldn't source any NS/AS for that sake to make measurements and trial, once they do it will sell it online. He also said KTM Duke/RC seats will not match NS seat dimensions and told me not to order that, as well as Pulsar 220/200.
SofaRider™ Gel Seat Cover for Bajaj Pulsar 180 200 220
Still you have the liking of buying a Velcro strap based pack (removable) which kind of sticks out of seat, didn't look great though, you can buy. Heard positive reviews.

well said. Same here. Contacted them, but they pointed out that gel seat cover for other models of Pulsar doesn't suit (dimensions differ). Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I tried out an idea and it works fine
Bought a HD spy pen camera from ebay for 700/- (available in models from 500/- to 2500/-), ripped it, fixed the recorder part on my helmet (taping) and recorded some videos. Positives: Rechargeable, 8GB Micro SD card plug-in, records one hour continuous video. Drawbacks: dry weather Only! Keep away from water!

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Well done! This was in back of mind quite some time though I have to agree it was not done due to procrastination. A DIY guide along with photos will be a welcome addition. Also lead to some videos that was shot with this. I guess this has a wide angle lens so it should work awesome with driving.Originally posted by krixna View PostI tried out an idea and it works fine

Excellent idea. But what is the video resolution? and how is the color correction and white balance?. I need a bare minimum of 720p. Tried recording using my mobile camera besides recording in that, I still find the clarity not that superior to these action cams. Plus always seeing a brightness imbalance, the ISO auto does not keep a proper balance and I can see a jerking contrast at some angles or shades.... That's weird for a mobile camera. This is one reason why I'm going for an action cam.
I'm mostly inclined toward YI action cam and will be buying it from ebay.in, but still googleing about accessories which are very limited

Meanwhile, I'm planning to buy the waterproof casing from one seller for 1440 and later on buy some GoPro adhesives and fix it on my Helmet or Tank. Handle bar mount isn't possible unless I fix a bar. Plus the RVM bar vibrates a lot, which I have tried using my mobile holder.Originally posted by kany1991 View PostI Gave u link of waterproof casing of yi cam check That
