In my exact one year of ownership I have touched 137 almost tens of times and touched 140 may be twice or thrice. The full acceleration speed max goes to 137 in normal riding posture. Touched 140 while bending. A fairing would have helped to take it further.

True that it doesn't necessarily requires the sprocket mod as the acceleration n top speed is enough to spark ur ride.. Its a breeze to overtake on this beast.. Love it to the core.

I am planning to change the clutch n brake levers to adjustable ones. Any idea if that affects the operation of the clutch?

The NS and the AS are two bikes from different segments altogether. However if you consider what is the under the fairing of the AS, you have an NS. So I would say the AS is defo worth a buy and would serve you good.

If naked is your cup of tea you could consider postponing your purchase to wait for the NS which, as per reports, is scheduled for a relaunch with an upgrade to FI.

Bro that would be a good choice. Upgrading to adjustable levers makes clutch operation less of a pain. I had them on my NS for a while and had no issues with them whatsoever. Clutch usage is a breeze.

However, a word of caution, please do not get the chinese make at all. Theyre risky and one can never be sure of the quality.

I do not recall the name, however, there was one member on the forum who had a nasty encounter with these. Hope if that member is reading this could shed some light on this.

About the 170kmph@10K rpm. Kits are available in .428, 17T front and 39T rear. Technically, the speed is possible with such a setup.

I crossed 130 almost every night while returning from the office...while going downwards on the flyovers it sometimes cross 140 which is due to the additional force ..i do once encountered a situation when i was on Yamuna Expressway and i was not able to cross 90 on full throttle due to a storm coming to my side..so it all matters to the blow of wind and its direction..

[MENTION=74050]Gowty[/MENTION] and @kanny1991. You guys are right. I weigh 93kg, well now 95kg [emoji5] , and comparing with 50kg of Gowty, seriously my bike will never cross 130 kph [emoji14] [emoji14]

But anything past 125 felt scary as @kanny1991 said. And because of my weight, i couldn't comfortably place my butt for longer saddle time. A max of 200km ride seems possible. Maybe i should drop some weight or the bike should gain some cc and comfort seats [emoji14]
[MENTION=74050]Gowty[/MENTION], 140kph true speed could be possible. As i said with overgearing, you can attain 136kph + 16kph(~10% of 136), which is ~152kph true speed. Now the speedo with 10% error might boost this true speed to ~166/167kph closer. I guess this could be possible. But we need a perfect racing kit, plus experience. But 170 still stands so remote and can't never happen without such speedo errors [emoji3]

Bro can you possibly tell me as to where can i get a 428 chain set ? Anywhere in India would do since i can have it shipped, no issues.

Is it possible with the current teeth set up or under/over gearing is inevitable ?

That's true, beyond 125 it's scary even on the Four way (NH7 is the nearest for Me). A slightest bump on the road throws my helmet away and beyond 130 can't face the wind blast without ducking. Though I stopped sprinting on such speeds after I got a Mileage of 28KmPL on a trip.

Did a small one day trip to Kerala. It was a 300Kms up and down journey.

The place is called Ramakkal Medu. 8 Kms from Cumbum Mettu in Idukki district of Kerala... The place was nice with places for trekking. Since I started my journey too late (almost 11.30 AM) from My home (Madurai), I reached there only by 3.30 PM. Couldn't spend much time there as I was in a Hurry to reach base of the mountain before the sun set

Got a whooping Mileage of 47.5 KmPL including a 60Kms hill journey

I don't think we will get it in India. There are videos from other countries of 200NS doing 170kmph in youtube (speedo error or not), with some .428 racing kits. But hey! As someone advised before, stay below 120! I usually hit 100+ only while overtaking.

Bros.. do not need this 428 kit to jump the speed at all. Mine is a different reason - I wanna get rid of the lag due to transmission losses and the chain rubbing on the chain guide due to its weight. I anyway have to get my chain set replaced since there is a manufacturing defect which is not covered by warranty so thought of doing the upgrade too at the same time. Moreover, currently, I am on a bike weight reduction spree and hence looking for the same.
