Every NS owner after seeing a NS with engine guard/belly pan wish to get one for there ride too. [emoji28] [emoji16]Originally posted by xplod566 View PostExcellent modding bro.simple yet flashy.
But I want to know where did you get the Engine guard and was there any DIY involved on it!

Thank you sir
I'm from the US, but living in the Philippines. This bike is the Rouser here in the PI. The Engine guard was sourced locally as well as the front visor. The only DIY on the engine guard are the red stripes which are just vinyl. However, i've recently found a much nicer engine guard available here that i'll be purchasing soon. See image below.

Welcome bro. The bike looks so good and especially the engine guard. Is the bike still on sales?. That's good. Keep sharing....[emoji106]Originally posted by Kevin Russell View PostThank you sir

Yeah possible, you are very optimistic.... goodOriginally posted by xplod566 View PostThis is also possible on a Dyno test.rider will keep the bike on a moving wheel and then will rip it till the max speed.since it doesn't have any weight at all so sometimes it can reach that speed.although what @jbm_guy has mentioned is logically correct and that might be the case
, but dyno tests the rear wheel, so the way to measure the speedo is not possible. Plus the speedo in our bikes are front wheel based (Old but reliable tech) and not engine RPM based (which I believed earlier
)

Yes bro. That is true to some extend. Sprocketing can help gears make final drive ratio taller\shorter and can make way for more rear wheel spin rate Vs engine rate. In such cases, the top speed can be slightly more, compromising low end. But in the world of sprocketing, the max you can expect as improvement will only be 10%. That is, say swapping a 43t of Duke 200 (I think so) with NS's 39t of rear sprocket will undergear (Assuming front sprocket is still 14) and will gain you acceleration close to Duke. They are not a direct fit. Now assuming your opponent (Duker) weighs 10Kg more than you, you have more chances to beat him up in 0 to ton. But your top speed will go for a toss, will be even poorer than Duke. There are some NS-ians out here who have already done such mods. I was interested once, later decided "If I ever need a good top end, let me buy a better bike".Originally posted by Gowty View PostSo that's why my NS struggles to cross 136 (with pillion).

Such a thorough explanation
. Good point bro
I saw this photo in FB and the owner was sayin " Racing kit n Stuff "
By the way, 136 kph with Pillion is too much to ask for
, while I couldn't cross beyond 128 kph till date on full throttle, solo. Sometimes the bike refuses move beyond even ~120 kph. Wind plays the major role. Esp in coastal area such as Chennai, it's even worse

Whoa!! Man, quite a perfect setup these are. In india such aftermarket things are hard to find locally for NS ...so gotta go ktm showroom and ask for the same.Originally posted by Kevin Russell View PostSure is possible

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Bro, I saw a machine in my SVC, where they keep the bike's rear tyre in between two rollers (Something like a treadmill) so that the roller spins along with the rear wheel. That device showed 140 KmpH (without rider)Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostYeah possible, you are very optimistic.... good

Yeah bro. Sprocketing does compromises one for the other. Either top speed or the acceleration. My personal opinion is NS is already having a ample acceleration, more than enough to overtake others. And regarding the kit stuff I think there's DAYTONA Kit for R15 which will increase it top speed....Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostYes bro. That is true to some extend. I would rather prefer a comparatively tall geared NS than a short geared DUKE which easily redlines on 3rd gear.
And BTW, from the looks of you, you may weigh at least more than 1.5 times than Me, may that's why I was able to cross 130
(Am a little underweight just 50
)
Trying to gain some weight, NS looks so ODD for Me

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
Agreed even i crossed 130+ barrier twice or thrice in 3 year of ownership once on solo 144 on odo (129 actual) and experience was horrible bike was bouncing like ping-pong ball on slightest undulation of road [emoji28] [emoji28]Originally posted by jbm_guy View Post

After that i never tried to go beyond 120[emoji16]
