Is there a reliable method to check t stem bend? The mechanic reports it as slightest bend in t stem which need to fixed with some lathe work or so. But how could we verify that?
He said the bike goes to left side when it's left free. I didn't have the chance to get the straight roads. But whatever I checked with the available roads it goes straight most of the times but right sometime (my Intuition when there are undue road surfaces and the curves in road which not being straight) should I allow him to do that?

PS the bike fell from the stand and the crash guard got bent the mirror got loosened. The top bolt on the right side crash guard was pasted with two sided tape earlier since the bolt got cut when the ASC over tightened it. Any how that's is fixed and the bumpers are in places. Mirrors are secured right which had enormous play after falling down.
The rh handle bar pipe is also replaced as there was a slight bent. Only thing the guy now report is bent t stem or fork. Which will be fixed by making it straight. What should be done?

Not a major crash or something. It was a skid where the bike fell right when I was in some 20 kmph. I couldn't manage the unexpected fall.
My bike has also fallen at around 40kmph. Crash guard got scratched all over and minor bend in it was corrected manually. But the sway to the left at normal speeds occurred from day one from purchase. I have a similar query. Why does the bike do that? Is it normal or specific problem of my bike? No apparent bend in the front forks. Although the cone-set does make minute sounds under potholes. Service Center mechanics advised NO major issue. Tightened the cone-set by small amount. Although some sound still persists. Mechanics told to let it do what ots doing. No unwanted play in steering movements, Also, no affect in driveability. Ironically, mechanic advised not to wash the bike often(I always clean it with a wet cloth).

There is something called t stem in which forks is held. If it's misaligned, it will have tendency to direct positively on a side. Long term adverse will have uneven tire wear. And poor cornering.

Is this the cause for the Left side sway? Because on google-ing, i found that many NS owners experienced similar characteristics. Also, the sway occurs ONLY when both hands are removed from the handlebars. Otherwise, never ever...

Does anyone here know, what are the jet sizes on a stock carb on NS ?
Never argue with a fool, for he will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

Swaying left has been common with previous gen NS and some earlier batches of AS200 as well. The major issue here is alignment problem that is due to cone and ball bearing setup which many factory default setup was incorrect.

In your case, it is a different story. Since your NS has fallen, the T-stem could have misaligned. I don't think replacing the whole setup is possible with you being a second owner and have to shell out a lot. My personal advice is, if you don't find it giving trouble then you can just ignore this. I know some complain about swaying left on their brand new NS which gave pain for some and not a precise handling for others... Plus I don't trust the lathe work how precise it will be. I my honest opinion, if it doesn't hurt you or disrupt your riding at any condition of road, you better let it be.

Anybody here using WD40 as a chain cleaner? Asking this because I was in search of a chain cleaner. Any other suggestions other than WD40 will also be helpful.

Thanks for the prompt reply bro, no haven't tried diesel will try this time. Does it remove all the muck? As I have replaced my chain and sprockets there is grease already applied on the chain so want to get rid of that grease as it is attracting dust and granules. Is it safe to clean and lube a new chain? Just being extra cautious.[emoji14]

Regarding Motul I inquired about it but it isn't available here in my city. And the third one is "Tribocor" I read about it online that its chain cleaner is not that great as its chain lube.

                              Hi Guys New Here !!

Just wanted to ask a couple of queries !!

I Bought a Used Pulsar 200 NS (Was just used for 1100 Kms by previous owner) ever since i brought It there is one issue or another popping up inspite of it being almost new.

Chain Sound, vibrations from headlight cluster (this maybe due to the previous owner removing the whole thing to put in LEDs) but the service centre doesnt want to fix it and says the sound wont go both for Chain and Headlight cluster, Is any1 facing the same issue ?

Also just wanted to know as to many KMs that Your NS run in full tank fuel until empty, Mins gives about 320 Kms only with cruising speed about 60 to 70 kmph, in normal city condition (I am not aggressive with throttle, I drive 40 Kms per day with open roads 80% and B2B traffic 20%). Is the mileage good or should it be better ? i have read some NS giving around 40 KMPL so just wanted to know how i can get this fixed ? As it is digging a deep hole in my pocket.

I have around 4300 KMs on my ODO, when is the best time to switch to better engine oil like Motul 7100 and also wanted to change these useless EuroSLIPS so what is the best option, I need grip and braking confidence, these tyres just swivel around when i brake or take a deep fast bend !

Please help me with all the above queries. Sorry for long post, Was waiting to ask these things for 2 Months now !

First of all bro, congratulations for the bike and welcome to the clan. To be very frank, every bike not just the NS alone will have some issue or the other. The NS is also a machine after all and not having jap refinement.

Regarding the chain noise, what kind of noise are you facing ? If its due to slippage you could be having a worn out sprocket however that seems unlikely as its only about 4300k old unless there is a manufacturing defect. Also, it could be due to incorrect slack or a misaligned chain guide.

The ASC guys cannot refuse to try to find a solution to a problem. Either speak with the manager out there or call up Bajaj customer service and lodge a complaint. It works.

The headlight cluster is definitely a needle in the butt. I showed the noise to my local guy to find out why it makes such a lot of noise. The bolts loosen up pretty quickly leading to vibrating noises. Plus, you gotta see the amount of wires and connectors concentrated into the headlight recess to believe it. If you are the DIY kind of guy open up the headlight console and then rebuild it back using 3M double side tape and filling the recess with stuff which would not absorb water but would provide a damping effect.

About mileage I have always wondered how does one get a 40 kmpl but then my story is different. I touch 120k daily on the highway on the way to work with no traffic around. I only manage to get a combined mileage of 33-35. Also, you may wanna get your AFR settings checked, i would say get your bike CO TUNED at the ASC. The standard tuning should be at around 1.6 (default). Just to add, do not trust your fuel guage to tell you how much fuel is remaining. Its very deceptive. How do you ascertain that you are running 320 kms per tank. Do you tank up each time ? How much fuel do you put in each time ?

About changing to 7100 its recommended not to do that before you have 8k on the odo. Running Mineral leads to a better finishing of the head which synth cannot do due to higher lubrication abilities.

Regarding tyres, cannot say much since I am still running Eurogrips. Seem pretty fine to me, never faced a problem with those in terms of control or handling or grip. Plus, have never ended up skidding my rear tyre or fishtailing. Plus, not even a single flat with 15k on the odo.

I have read about zappers and Michelin sport but canmot recommend either since I havent used either.

Hope this helps bro. Feel free to holler in case you need anymore help.
