Thanks for the info bro. Searched NGK website and found this.

    Main plug - LKAR8AI-9
    Side plugs - CPR8EAIX-9.

Do all spitfire cables work with it, or should I buy something particularly made for our bike???

    Thanks for your help.

There is a small trick. This has to be done to all the plugs, for a cylinder with multiple plugs.

Increase plug gap from standard by 0.01" (0.25mm) for better performance and fuel efficiency in low and mid range. High revs may be vibey.
Decrease plug gap by the same for better performance and lesser vibes in high revs. Low and mid range may become less powerful.

Alternately, increase from standard specs 0.25mm for primary plug and decrease 0.25mm for secondary plug(s) for a compromise between the two.

Note: Check for blue spark after *increasing* the gap. If it doesn't give a blue spark, reset the gap to original specs.

Disclaimer: I read this from "Effect of plug gap on combustion" some time back (Google it), I tested it out on my NS (the first method - increasing gap of all 3) and it is true! You may try at your own risk and I cannot be held responsible for anything

The side plugs also match. Great.

About the Spitfire cable: It is a cable with lower resistance compared to the normal ones. This means that more current (and of course voltage) reaches the plug and also the cable heats up less (compared to normal cables).
It can be used to replace any old cable.

I will talk to my mechanic about this... I don't want to try this on my own, as I am a noob in this regard[emoji14]

You may run the risk of being called Nuts by the mechanic

I easily get about 4,000 - 4,500 kms on a single fill. I am sure that there are still kms left since my mech uses it for his bike.

Experienced mechanics can tell about the life of the oil by putting a drop on the index finger and then rubbing it with the thumb, and then wiping it off with a cloth and looking at the colour of the fingers.

I can understand how you must be feeling. My ignition barrel was making a buzzing noise and that drove me nuts. Yours seems like a bigger problem so can feel your pain. Did you drop your bike? Or did these vibes start gradually?

Hey Gaurav hope you are doing good.
This engine oil can easily last 6000kms for sure.I used it for around 6500 kms and it still had life for another 1000kms.
But the irony is that even at/6000 kms the bike didn't fell that harsh at all.loved it

Nw bro.so far so good.going through the run in period.
Yes it can easily last 6000kms eyes closed and can be easily stretched till 7000 kms.
Also one more reason why I am saying it can last till 7000 kms is because the duke(200 or 390) oil change/service interval is 7500 kms,so that means it can easily last 7500 kms.
Also if such a high compression engine can manage it for 7500 kms means its a cakewalk for the beautiful and versatile NS engine.I stretched it till 7000 kms on my old AS and oild was still good.
I still miss my AS though as I always have a soft corner for Pulsars [emoji4]
