If am not wrong NS stock rear comes in 130/70R 17, so the mentioned profile 140/70 doesn't make any difference in the height. My first preference was duke R tyres, but as far as the height is concerned I drop the same and rely on the CBR 250R tyre, as it got some massive look.

Now moving to the hardcore part, "Performance", so you are telling that we can feel some power drop, will it be a major drop or we can live with the same??
Moving to a 140/70 from the stock will cause a height difference. Read on for how to calculate the impact to ride height that a tyre profile makes...

Lets assume a tyre profile 140/70 which means that the cross section is 140 and the profile is 70... Which means that the sidewalls of the tyre is 70% of the cross section which turns out to be 98mm.

Using this calculation you can calculate the height impact caused by any tyre available in the market and then choose the best.

The NS has a stock tyre 130/70.. Jz checked.. My bad fot earlier quoting 130/80.. So thats a tyre of profile 91mm whereas a 140/70 has a tyre profile of 98mm

Hence best suited as per your requirement is 150/60 with tyre profile of 90mm.. Just a 1 mm drop.

can any naked wolves rider tell me where in airoli, as airoli is just 15 min ride from my home

Hey, is this the right way to tune the carb for optimal performance and mileage? I suspect because this way aren't we tuning it to the richer side? Just a query.[emoji4]

He asked for 'not mileage nor performance but balance btw both'. Let us say it will be a little bit on the rich side. Very little though, if you do it right.

Hry bhai could you post a pic of what you got done.. I mean the location of drilling of the hole etc.. Would really help.

I've given the pic a few posts after the one you quoted. Anyways posting again. Red dot is the original location of the allen bolt. The clamp's top is cut off. Compare the clamp shape in the pic with the clamp in your bike to get an idea.

omg, this months very bad for me, had minor fall with ns200, left side handle slightly bend, and now headlight fairing vibration are now driving me nuts, at all rpm
please how to reduce this vibration, and also the gear is getting stuck after the fall.

Remove the whole headlight assembly and console, refit. This will ensure all screws are tight. Insert rubber (double side tape doesn't last) between visor and console, also btw visor and headlight assembly.

Falling and gear getting stuck maybe because you have bent the shifter or it's connecting rod. Straighten or replace.

                      Hi friends,
I think upsizing the rear tyre size to 140/60 will be better than 140/70 and 150/60.
Go for the Michelins or MRF Revz series.
As our NS comes with a rear tyre size of 130/70, the tyre height will be 91mm.As the rear wheel rim is designed for this size, upgrading the tyre to 140/70 will make the tyre height more than 98 mm. i.e, you are inserting a bigger sized tyre into the rim which is designed for a smaller size. So there will be a further increase of about 3 to 5 mm in the tyre height which again increases the seat height.
It is same in the case if you put tyre of size 150/60. Amazed by the rear tyre width of KTM Duke 200, my friend swapped the rear tyre of his 200NS with that one of a Duke, i.e, 150/60 MRF Revz-C. But the result was bad. As I mentioned earlier, since the rear wheel rim is designed for 130/70 tyre size, putting a 150/60 tyre into it didn't make the width of the rear tyre as much as that of the duke's. Instead, the width was almost same as that of the stock tyre( a slight increase was noted) and also the height of the tyre was much bigger than that of the duke's. It also increased the seat height. This is just like squeezing and inserting a larger sized tyre into a wheel rim which is designed for a smaller size. So, for 150/60 a height of 90 mm was assumed which was wrong. An increase of minimum 5mm was felt.
I suggest you to go for 140/60 radial tyres that are seen in Yamaha FZ and Suzuki Gixxer. The height of the tyre will be 84mm. Since the tyre size is larger than the stock tyre size, after fitting there will be another 3 to 5 mm increase, which results in a overall tyre size of 87 to 89 mm. This will eventually result in a reduced seat height of 1 to 3 mm. This will not affect the performance of the bike. Instead, there will be improved stability and braking efficiency. The bike will be more planted to the road while riding.
Another option is to go for the tyre which is used in Yamaha R15 Version 2, 130/70 of MRF Revz-S. Since it is a radial tyre, the structure of the tyre is different from that of the stock tyre of 200NS. Those who had put this tyre in 200NS had experienced a reduced seat height and in appearance it looks more wider than the stock one.
Upgrading the stock tyre with the above mentioned tyres won't affect the performance and efficiency of the bike.

Hey guys today checked the mileage it was 28kmpl, there many hiccups too I tried various carb tuning but no good.[emoji20] Now am planning to replace my carb and chain sprocket since I have been facing issues related to both chain and carb. I wanted to ask that whether chain sprocket is included in warranty or not?

You can get a replacement, if you can prove that it is a manufacturing defect.

Take it to a lathe. They need to drill a hole in the broken bolt and extract it. Regrooving needs to done as well.

No bro don't change it.carb doesn't wear out so fast.it can easily last for 10 years!
Just call the bajaj toll free number bro and raise a complain.that should solve your issue .most probably issue is with diapharm.

Bhai Bajaj WILL NOT EVEN BOTHER looking into the issue. The jerks at the customer service dont even know anything. If you raise a complaint on their website its auto forwarded to the service center you choose. Basically its the same as speaking directly to the ASS guys.

I had taken the bike to service center to the service guys and replacing rhe carb had NO impact on performance. I am on the road abhi so the service guy would be picking my bike up on tuesday and get it looked into.

Btw, for all those who have gotten spark plugs changed please make sure that the model is the correct one. Krishna bajaj put the spark plugs for 150cc into my bike. Luckily i had the bill to prove it due to which my ASS guys took it up with Krishna Bajaj directly. The correct spark plugs have some code like R6 or RJ6 mentioned on it.
