    I hope this helps others..
    Bro thanx for you info.
But how to adjust that ..??

Its definitely rich if its revving and then dropping

        But not so early
For atleast 500kms keep it under 3500 then increase gradually every 2-300kms only for 5-10kms then again ride under 3500rpm and dont worry about average. While going up slopes please gear down dont load the engine and change gears slowly to avoid load. For a new engine a richer mixture is better so theres less load on the engine but set the air screw to the optimum position

I have done same thing with mine classic350.

Dont take it to 80 atleast until 1500kms
U can take it to 60 after 500

Its not about the speed, but RPM's. Keep check on the rpms and keep them under the recommended range.

            Ride safe and have fun.

Yes brother the nut between lever and rubber part :-)
You can rotate the nut clockwise or anticlockwise... it sort of adjusts the lever thats pushes the fluid to callipers
If nut is all the way down then the brakes are lose and pads slightly rub disc.. As you bring the nut up the brake lever lifts up and brakes become super responsive to inputs.. Adjust it according to your need... :-)

Thanks for replying. The AFR was actually lean. As royal racer had mentioned, the SVC guys had tuned to a very lean mixture to prevent ripping and to obtain good mileage figures. So 2 turns anti clockwise in the AFR screw had sorted it out, and bike is smooth as ever.

So new buyers, be aware of this idea used by people at bajaj!

You should check the condition of the spark plugs to see if the AFR is lean or rich. Ride for a few hundred kms and then check the spark plugs to see if the AFR is optimal or not.

And a company won't lean the mixture to stop ripping. If they did the leaning, its just to have more mileage figures.

                  Ride safe and have fun.

Make sure that after you adjust, that nut must be tightened back into place, otherwise it'll start moving around [causing bigger problems]. Its that rod type lever that is adjustable.. [the one going into the rubber bush] Don't adjust it too much too, since brake pressure can drop easily, making the brake less powerful [ you wont know till you try braking rapidly]

Ok bro. I tired removing the RHS spark plug, but couldn't get out from the hollow pipe like thing(Sorry, don't the exact name).

I was just saying that engine smoothness can be from many reasons. To be exactly sure about the AFR is to read the color of spark plugs.

You dont have to ride few hundred kms .. Spark plugs shows color after 3-4kms. If it take 100km then how people manage to do upjetting in one day..

Brother the nut is directly welded or fixed to rod to make adjustment to rod.. you cannot tighten the nut :-)

No way your plugs will show color in 3-4kms. One has to ride sufficient kms for the readable color to show.
Those people do ride a lot when upjetting process is being done.

Well, i'm no expert. I was just saying what i know to be the correct way. Do as you guys wish.
