In ZMA, as soon as you turn ignition ON, speedo console back lit becomes ON & remains ON till key is turned to ignition OFF. It does not depend on whether you you have put pilot lamps ON/OFF.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostCan you explain more about this.
Both about ZMA, and NS
I know its a step to save battery but it kind of irritates MEOriginally posted by csajal View PostSince it's all DC motorcycle, it's a step to save battery power
Back lit (LEDs) ain't that much power hungry. Moreover, ZMA has a DC circuit as well. But has a powerful 7aH / 9aH
battery to back it up + an option of kick start.
Some more positives -
* I am satisfied with headlight. Hi & Lo both beams are satisfactory.
* Just once crossed 6K and felt change in exhaust note. And guess what, its a music for a biker
* Headlight is turned OFF when engine is OFF & turned ON after a gap of 2-3 seconds once engine is cranked up. So no more worries of fused headlights
Other owners, please confirm if handlebar issue exists on their bikes?The Zmaniac - 2 wheeled enthusiast

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

Quick question to all owners : Is the bike bigger than the 220 or smaller? I mean if a big (heavy
~ 78kgs
) person sits on it, will it look small? I had the 220 earlier, that used to look just fine
Past : Pulsar 220 DTSi (Pune)
Current : Kawasaki Bajaj Caliber 115 (B'lore)
Future : Bajaj Pulsar 200NS (B'lore)

Guys from all over India who has been waiting to grab the handles..
I have an idea. Why don't we get the help of @MG Sir to contact Bajaj and ask for the launch date plans through out India? I'm sure that Bajaj would reply to @MG Sir. Please @MG Sir, please do this for all of your brothers out here.

Its a loot. Bajaj DTSi Crappy oil doesn't last even 2K kms. I have changed and migrated to Yamalube semi-syn too, which is not so good for Pulsars. Now running BP MAK 4T NXT and its awesome.Originally posted by Speedshift View PostTotal Bill = Rs. 1168

Engine Oil = Rs.650
Oil Filter = Rs.74
Engine Oil Additive = Rs.98
Chain Wash = Rs. 75
Fuel injector Cleen = Rs.40
labour = 50
VAT on oil @ 20% = Rs.130
VAT on rest of all @ 12.5% = Rs.51
They were recommending Motul 7100 FS oil but later their engineer came and asked them to put DTSi oil.
Now the Mileage reoprt :
The ODO of the bike was 14 when I got the tank full, today it was 467 and again I got the tank full and it took 9.43 litres to full the tank.
Mileage = 467-14/9.43 = 48.03

My driving was mostly in the city. Never rode above 4k RPM except on 5 occasions that too only for a few hundred metres and not above 8k RPM.
P.S. : The bike was in main and NOT in reserve even after 453kms of riding.
Same as above mate.Originally posted by rahuldevnath View PostCan anybody confirm what's the Oil drain interval for the 200NS? Because if customers are willing to put Dtsi 10000 oil, then the next oil change should not be before 10,000Kms atleast!
(It's other thing that we will require it change it by max 4000Kms)Regards,
Akash Yadav
