Normally, cold rpm ( when you just start bike) should be 1.3k to 1.4k rpm)
And when you ride bike a lot, it should go to max 1.6krpm.
Your idling is wrong.
Drive around 5kms or more.
Stop and put bike on stand.
Now on the rear brake pedal side of bike. ,you should notice a 2cm diameter of screw that you can turn by hand. Turn that to clockwise, you'll notice the rpm go up.now turn the screw such that rpm goes up to 3k.
Now is the patience part.
Start turning that screw anticloclwise, that will leas the rpm to come down from 3k, NOTE ,anticloclwise turns should be done in small angles,
Till the rpm comes down to 1.5krpm or 1.4krpm minimum. ,you're good to go.
Alternatively, you can go svc and ask them to tune idling.
But start doing things on your own,it's fun.

Well I did tune the idling settings myself and set it to 1.5 . Because when I got the bike, idling was set to 2.5. I just do the tuning almost everyday due to the problem. Fixed it myself after I posted the query. Lets see how it goes now. Rode for around an hour not having the problem.

You need to anti turn the screw very slowly, till 1.5 krpm, if you do it fast, then it'll be of no use.

Screw it I got the projector removed, back to 200NS' stock headlamp. Biggest mistake that I went for the setup in the first place, just not satisfactory options available there. The stronger ballast was costing another Rs 1250 and it definitely made the overall lighting stronger. But I didn't go for it. Also was a 3000k tube which had a pale yellow green'ish color to it, again additional 1250 for it, didn't buy it. The main reason for removing the 6000k HID is that it's color on the road was hurting my own eye.

Test rode someone's 200NS with a FFE, oh man what a feeling to hear the roar. Apparently the guy is such a fool & got so much spare money that he's switched between 10 different FFE for his 200NS. He's just at 6000 Kms on ODO and has spent several thousands (over 50k ) on FFE just for testing purposes and has no regrets. The one exhaust he had presently had costed him Rs 10,500. and it was leaking from pipe.. he had come to get it rectified. there was so much carbon around the leak area. His setup was a F1 conical air filter and that exhaust.. the bike felt really good though.

broken87, so a fatka of 3000₹, so said to hear bro.
Try ONLY simple white bulb of osram or Philips extreme vison that costs only 600-700₹ .
Hids and projectors need a good quality shop.
Ffe is not worth it, it'll damage bike in long term, telling you with EXPERIENCE.

Yea, fatka toh hai.. actually loss of Rs 1500 as the shopkeeper took the projector back for Rs 2000. Bigger loss is the virginity of my headlamp unit, it's got these minute scratches on the reflector and the glass. You know how awesome 200NS' headlamp looks up close, mine has got these visible scratches and dust particles inside now .. Another issue is that the headlight beam is going rather upwards, so the low beam is a little further than it used to be and high beam is going upwards slightly, hence not illuminating anything on the road. Just tested midnight.
So guys, is it possible to adjust the focus of my headlight downwards where it should be ? Or is it that once fitted in, that Halogen bulbs stays where it is and only points in one direction ? If that's the case why my bulb is pointing rather upwards and not where it was ? I can get this fixed at the Service center right ?

White bulbs from osram and philips are probably not worth spending on either as they don't provide enough visibility, a Philips dealer once told me this in Karol Bagh. Instead advised me to get those improved Halogen bulbs from Philips as they're better.

And Yes, Fk the FFE and it's roar, Nothing Beats "Stock" & peace of mind.

Btw, Clocking 140+ at midnight feels kinda really good! xD

Yes you can adjust your headlamp throw by rotating a screw, I have not played with it in ns, you may ask the seniors, but definitely you can adjust with a screw!

Now at bajaj svc opening and then putting it back Labour cost is 150₹, for alignment, the cost varies from 180₹ to 500₹( just the chance to loot you) ,also get BOTH SIDE ALIGNED, not one.
NOTE ,reason maybe something else too, as I've not inspected your bike.but the scene you're describing, 99% its the misalignment.

Well maybe the full systems do that if they aren't tailor made for the bike or tuned properly. Slip on exhausts cost less than half that of full systems most of the times and they do no harm at all. The purposes of a slip on are sound and looks. You get very negligible low end with it due to the free flow nature and helps reduce weight a little too. It's a nice add on and is what most hot-rodders consider a wise decision as a first mod.

I see, absolutely no harm ? I thought engine wears out quicker with free flow slip ons ? I'd probably go and try out a slip on if I didn't like the stock exhaust note of NS. But I love it. Are you using a slip on btw ?

There will ALWAYS be more wear if any type of mod is done. Some mods do less harm, while others more. Nothings comes close to stock reliability and stability.

Just a friendly advice, why are you wasting your money like this. Instead get good gear for yourself. Not only will that protect you, but you will look cool also.

I was told 3k plus. Well, no use to buy new, it gets misaligned in every bike while it takes a fall.and is easy to correct

It will always damage engine, unless made by a fortune plus company specifically for a bike with exhausting testing, like aprakovic for litre class bikes etc.

1 .Our bike's headlight tail lamp other such electrical stuff runs off the battery when idle and when above a certain speed does it run on power generated by the motion , like how a dynamo works ?

2.How long does ns's battery last with 45 mins usage daily on an average ?
is it rechargable ?

Dynamo attched to the engine. So yes it recharges the battery
