Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
How did you find the refinements between bothOriginally posted by NitSpeed200 View Postyea, the karizma was able to keep up with my bumblebee(that's what I call my NS). We were doing mostly 110-120kmph, but the karizma found it hard to keep up when i did the top speed checks
, otherwise there was no issue.
but everything changes when there is crosswind...i struggled to get past 120kmph while the karizma did not find it as much as of an issue and overtook me

Checked your video. Check my comments.. [emoji3]Originally posted by Narayanan View PostI am seeing few members discussing about the vibrations. Vibration as such is a difficult aspect to compare between machines. There are many factors contributing from road, machine condition including the tyre, engine etc. Also discussing them qualitatively with adjective does not help in comparing. As one man says "very high" will be mild to someone. I thought if it can be make it quantitative so that it means same for everyone.
In that thinking I searched Google Play Store and found few Android apps that will record the vibration. I just found one good app for that named Vibration meter which I tried in my machine immediately and I recorded the video.
I used a bungee chord to hold my phone. I did not want to try this test while moving as the road conditions will impede the readings. In case if any wants to discuss about how bad the vibration is on their machine they can try this setup and quote the max number that showed up. In my case, I revved to 6K which in 6th gear would have reached 75-80kmph and the vib went max to 8.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences
I just went through this thread searching for suggestions to upgrade the stock headlight bulb..
I found that that my best bet was getting the Philips Rally 90/100W bulb, along with a higher gauge wiring, a roots relay and a ceramic bulb holder... I also saw some member's directly fitting the 90/100W bulb and getting good results.
However, what was missing from those posts was if they have any other electrical mods they have done on their bikes. For example, I have a upgraded dual horn (hella) setup on a minda relay..
So will putting another relay with a 90/100W bulb coz more load on the battery or eventually further problems?
I intend to use the Philips Rally Bulb with Roots Relay and higher gauge wires... will the stock holder be fine or should I get the ceramic holder? where would I get this ceramic holder?
If the above is not possible.. My last bet is to upgrade to the Philips Extreme Vision Plus Bulb - Philips 12342XVPB1 H4 12V 60/55W X-treme Vision Plus Car Headlight Bulb: Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike
But I'm not sure if that would be a big upgrade over the current setup. (1600 vs 2900 lumens)
Could you help me out.. krixnaLast edited by NeVi77e; 10-25-2015, 03:01 AM.NeVi77e

As asked for I tried to do this analysis on:Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostTry while riding... Things will differ
- Rider seat. The phone was strapped on the the rider seat using the same bungee chord and the following is the result:
- Pillion seat. Same strapping as above and the result:
- Handle bar. The phone was strapped on the handle bar with the phone back side resting over the master cylinder cover of the front disc brake. result:
- While driving. I strapped the phone on petrol tank using the same method that you saw on video. I drove around 5 kms on paved, unpaved, worst speed breakers, best speed breakers, includes gradual acceleration, includes jack rabbit start and in spite of all these the results are:
My theory of reduced max vibrations are because now the tires are in contact with the road and not the metal stand as in previous cases.
Don't see the graph rather see the values of the top. This is because I took screenshot after taking the phone of its position that would have disturbed it and added some time as well. As usual as in the video, all these observations were done on the bike put on main stand on the same spot where I recorded the video. The bike was started, idled for couple of seconds, revved gradually till 6k RPM and left back to idling rpm and switched off. The last one was bit different as it involved driving.Last edited by Narayanan; 10-26-2015, 11:35 AM.
