People getting cheated on the name of consumables makes the maintenance costs of this bike look as high as a 400cc bike.
FYI it's costS only 675₹ (including motul5100,oil filter and o ring) at normal even service intervals and costs 0₹ at odd service intervals.
Note that renewable items such as chain lock, sprocket set, coolant etc aren't included.

@Anuj_Gupta, I am not sure with 260 Rs for consumables, but i think that is ok with me as long as they are washing/polishing my bike and cleaning and lubricating the chain as per my satisfaction.
I guess you are quoting 675₹ (including motul 5100,oil filter and o ring) is probably for 1 litre bottle+ oil filter and o-ring.
Motul 5100 15w50 costs 550₹ per liter in Bangalore, and i had to buy 2 bottles so that i could fill 1200 ml. for this time and retain the rest of the oil for future oil changes.
Also, anyone please advise on the drain interval for Motul 5100 15w50 for normal city driving conditions.
          thanks in advance.

You cannot change the oil filter as when you open it, oil does leak come out through the oil filter casing. my guess you will end you losing around 50-100 ml of engine oil by the time you pull out the old oil filter and push in the newer one.
My recommendation is to run it until the next service, it would n`t do any harm to your engine if the running in period is already completed.

Hey about your doubt. It's those many kms maximum of 240 kms. On the receipt you got of 1st servicing , the last line will start when your next service is due . It's 3 months after 1st service and 4 months after 2nd or 240 days from purchase . And you sadly can't change the filter. All the oil will drain out , entire I mean . So if you really want to do it then collect the oil in a container and refill . Contact with outside substances is not recommended so wait for some more kms . I did my oil and filter change after 2nd servicing .

If you really want to change the oil filter, there's a simple method by which you can change it without the oil flowing out.

Preferably you should have an old car tyre or something to rest the bike on. You can tilt the bike and rest it on its side so that the oil filter cover is facing skywards. Then you can replace the oil filter.

The second service is 120 days. It's definitely a printing mistake.

Availed my first free service today. The guys at Bagga Link, Rithala are very good in terms of service.
They allowed me to take a look at the whole service procedure. Previously i had a hero passion and those guys didnt allowed you to enter the service station.

The mechanic changed the engine oil and the oil filter. He also added some added some Motul additive in the radiator. He said it helps in engine cooling. Also got the centre stand fitted, last week had a hard time washing the bike placed on side stand.

Any kind of additive is absolutely not required. Be it coolant additive , engine oil additive or petrol additive.
From the next time you can absolutely ask them not to use any of those.

As per your bike switching off issue, check the idle rpm. It should be somewhere at 1.3-1.5, I'd suggest you to keep it at 1.5 for you.

And for the guys who have got there bikes recently, never ever ever ever let the service guys play with the AFR settings.(Unless there is an actually issue, of course :-P)
                        AFR = air fuel ratio.
The screw is located behind the rpm crew.

It's the screw mounting of the plastic cover that sits beside rider seat. The bike hasn't taken any hit till date. Looking at the cracks I think it was due to over tightening of screw, which must've been there when I took the delivery. I've wiped the bike for first time today and this is what happened.
What could be done about it now?

No bro idling at 2.5 after driving isnt normal... Get your afr and idling settings checked!
Max idling rpm should be 1.6k rpm after engine warms up and cold start should be around 1.4k rpm..
Just have your settings checked ..
