If you dont dilute the coolant which is meant to be diluted then engine will run hot.. non premixed coolant will contain high amount of ethylene glycol which is an antifreeze that prevents coolant from freezing if temperature runs ice cold .. but more ethylene glycol means the coolant will run heavy and wont circulate properly resulting in high engine temperature.. so it may affect the cooling system in long run..

Do not mistake the Radiator as the Reservoir Tank and never pour the coolant in the Radiator. It will result in huge leakage when the coolant gets heated and finds no space to expand.

Please don't scare newbies with statements like this. Expansion Tank and Coolant Reservoir are different terms for the same thing. Or you probably meant the radiator. "One should never top up from the radiator."

And yes, coolants are available in two varieties, ready-to-use pre-mixed and premixed. Motul Motocool is premixed, don't use Castrol so don't know. Anyways, it should be mentioned there on that label.

Hi guys, need help on this matter...

my bikes front is wobbling a lot when i ride and it happens a lot when the road is rough/bumpy or when i brake hard..I took the bike to the svc and each time they just tried to adjust the fork play and the issue didn't get resolved. Finally they told me to change the cone and ball bearing and I took the bike to them on 3 different days and they did nothing..They didn't even touch the bike even after there was not much rush in the svc..Frustrated and angry over this, I had a quarrel with them and had to take my bike back without repairing..After few days, I took the bike to another svc and they changed the cone & ball bearing and bike seemed to run better..But after a week or so the problem started again..Now I’m really saddened and confused on what to do next..I love my bike and take very good care of it and want to fix the bike at any cost..Can any of you guys know what the real issue is..? Shall I take the bike to a good workshop or still hold on to the svc guys whom i really don’t think can fix the issue..My bike has ran over 17,300 kms now...and i have no other issues with the bike so far...

Hey guys, rear tyre swollen up. So I have to change it immediately. I have a few tyres in my mind namely mrf revs s 130/70, dunlop tuffgrip 140/70, mrf revs c 150/60. My priorities are cornering stability, wet grip, a bit fuel efficient would be nice. Help me out please.

With 27500kms on the Odo, it was time for a mojor overhaul.
Part replaced: Clutch plate assembly and ancillaries, complete chain set, Cone sets and ancillaries, break light led indicators, gear lever pin.

                      Bill amount: 5500 for all parts+consumables, ~1100 labour, and 12.5% tax = Rs 7500/-
Motul 7100 engine oil was extra as I had to buy. AFAIK, only Auto Service keeps stock of Motul in bangalore. I gave the bike for servicing @Amba Bajaj, HSR layout as it is nearest for me and no issues till now.

I still have that slight power loss in 5.8k to 6K rpm in 5th and 6th gear. Otherwise the bike is like new now

I will check that mate..I checked on some tyre shops and they said they don't check wheel balancing for bikes..have to find a shop now..and my bike doesn't wobble on a good road..so not sure whether the alloy is bent or not..but will check that too...thanks Khalsayash...

go for the stock tyre size if you are looking for fuel efficiency..all other tyre size you mentioned will make a drop in fuel efficiency and will make the bike drag a little bit..150/60 wont look that beefy as the alloys are smaller compared to the Duke's..if you still planning on upgrading tyre size, then 140/70 will be the better option and it will look beefy too...

I would go with the Revz S 130/70. Very good dry grip, good swimming abilities. And it's the stock size, so less variations to worry about vi-a-vis increased weight and thereby decreased acceleration.

And excellent grip and fuel efficiency don't go hand in hand. Increased grip means increased rolling resistance, which means less fuel efficiency, though it's hardly noticeable. It depends more on your riding habit.

On the other hand, a low rolling resistance tyre like the stock tyres will give better mileage, though it's mostly of interest to academicians. Like I said, fuel efficiency will mostly depend on your bike's tuning and how you ride rather than what tyres you put on. But you will definitely notice the lack of grip versus a a good tyre.
