The problem is not air leak but entirely opposite.
My rear tyre hasn't lost even a single.psi since past 20 days and 100kms+ riding (means trashing),

Nothing weird in that. My rear tyre also loses just a single psi even after many days of riding.

I am using motul 7100 20w50 for last 500 kms . But still gear shifts are not smooth. While downshifting a thud sound comes. Sometimes I also hear this when upshifting. And When heated sometimes Gear shifts become hard. What could be the reasons. Pls help.

Under normal riding conditions, the air pressure should not reduce (even by 1 psi) for 300-400kms. I check the air pressure only in 600-800 kms (every alternate fueling) and it will either same or down by 1-2 psi.
Either the front tyre or the front rim has issue. Check for dent on the rim, which may be visible only on careful inspection. You can get it checked by any of the puncture repair guys. There can be air leak through previous punctures too.

Yes only few people have spoken here but we must remember that there are thosands of people out there who are non xbhpians and do not report such issues online.

I have personally seen many ns leaking - at service centre, at office parking lots and other places as well.

There are people out there who never even noticed the leaks unless i pointed it out to them.

I am not here to argue or prove my point here. Just spoke out of experience.

I agree to your post. Also, it is strange that Duke has quality issue and NS doesnt. aving said that, I made it a point to check for leakages and found 1 out of 2 NS with Leaky head.

Cylinder head cover and stator plate cover gasket area and right side spark plug leaks oil. Its not heavy leakage but its there.

And amount of leakage is directly proportional to amount of ripping u do.

Ride it sanely at 80-90 kmph and no leakin...start ripping at 115-120 kmph and it starts leaking.

Its a new trend in Bajaj. I had 220 for long time and it never leaked even after lot of ripping. Even on my R15v2, 90% times ripping does not cause any leaks or seepage.

Leakage or seepage is not good, and slowly Bajaj/KTM is trying to take over Royal Enfield in this regards.

My friend NS has enough quality issues which worsens with the High Quality workmanship we get at the service centers.

I have been through a lot with my NS, its just 15,000kms old. At the same time i know people who have a relatively trouble free NS.

You are already riding the Duke 200 and i wont suggest the NS over the Duke. I find duke much more fun to ride despite the flaws.

may be problem with minute leaks in tyre.I face this problem in my rear tyre(pulsar 220).The front tyre pressure always remain unchnged while the rear tyre pressure drops down to 20psi(even if i fill it to 35psi,it drops to exact 20psi..not even + or - 1-2psi).And sometimes minute stone like particles get stuck near the valve, thus causing it to remain open which leads to rapid/gradual decrease in air.

Let's hope that these machines are made for European Market where it is relatively cool atmosphere than India. So, our bikes can't withstand the heat up to long time and starts spitting engine oil and coolant liquid. I may be wrong but I will switch to some efficient cooling liquid in next service. Need suggestions guys.

We are already getting good quality coolant in our Bike. Its either Castrol - Radicool or the Motul - Moto Cool Expert. Both are efficient and the NS does not have overheating issues.

Also earlier every 15 days rear used to loose 5psi, this time it didn't lost even a single unit.

Dude, Front tyre pressure down from 27 to 16psi in 20 days is a problem . That's what I was mentioning.

By 'normal riding conditions' i meant no off-roading. Your riding pattern got nothing to do with tyre pressure.
Rear tyre not loosing pressure in 20 days in not a problem, it is quite normal. Did you change the rear tyre recently?

                          Am I still missing something!

Hey guys I wanted to ask which is the coolant we have got as stock. The Green one , what's it's name ? My coolant lvl is near to minimum .. And if I wanna top up the coolant I just open the nozzle and pour in the required amount right ? Do u need to mix the coolant with other things ? Or just top it up ? At what duration of kms do we need to flush the entire coolant ?
Because the svc charges as much as a new coolant bottle for just a small topup so I am planning to do it myself.

OT : I dont know its a problem with wrong quote or your misunderstanding on a person's post..you end up thinking in the opposite way a person told.

Where did i tell that P200ns suffers from quality issues..please go through my post again and revert back.I told about minor leaks in tires and stones/particles that block the valve. If your back tire's pressure is normal and front is loosing the pressure,it does mean that something went wrong with front tire.If a person talks about bent rims,he's not bashing the company for it..rather the road/rider for causing bent rims.

For topping up the reservoir/expansion tank you can pour in a mix of coolant and distilled water in a 50:50 ratio. The distilled water should be available in any fuel bunk. Coolant from different brands should be fine as long as it's the same colour. Don't mix different colours.

And preferably do it when the engine is cold.

I think a complete flush is required only every 2-3 years or after around 30K kms.
