This one is aesthetics but the one which you put just below the fuel knob greatly helps in reducing scratches on tank due to helmet etc things you put upon tank.

Today morning I found some black sludge over engine head right side near perimeter frame. And I feel annoyed by this oil leak issue now. This month I have exams and for that I have to travel 100 kms daily. When I need my bike to perform the problem appeared. What would be the reason? Oil seal? 13K odo running on Motul 3100 Gold.

Now I want to get my bike serviced at pro Biking showroom, will they do it?

Switching to Motul 7100 20W50 this weekend.
Can anybody tell me if other than engine oil, some other spare part like oil filter and all is also required...?
Have asked dealer to keep two bottles for me. but around 950 a liter its a total ripoff.
Any pointers in bangalore on where I can find this engine Oil will be appreciated greatly.

Also a big thanks to all you guys coz, for the first time ever tried chain oiling myself this weekend. My earlier skeptism of HOW IMPORTANT CAN IT BE has gone wrong.
All the noise vanished and there is a new spring in the pickup of the bike.
I used Motul chain lube, and ill probably start oiling after 400-500 km range now onwards.

                Costs 750 a 1L
Being using using and quite happy with it..

You cash find 7100 easily on jc road, and its a total rip off if he's asking for 950 a litre, you'll get 300v for that rate.
Regarding the change you'll need a new oil filter and filter o ring.

950 a litre is too much even for Bangalore standards...the dealer is fooling around 😈

I got motul 7100 20w50 for Rs 780 with an mrp or Rs 820

Thanks As soon as he started talking about some advance money, i smelt something fishy and backed out.
Will check around today also. I went on sunday and not many shops were open because it was the last sunday of month.
Maybe that was the reason he tried to fool around.

From what I hear from the svc here there are crank issues, camshaft breaking issues and bearings going bad.
