Because the oil filter must be replaced with every oil change, even more for the first couple ones which are the ones that come with lots of debris from the engine.

Mate, you need not quote the pics for comments. It unnecessarily occupies thread space

        Nice pics though. Thanks!

        • NSians!!

Today i went to Kanchan Motors (Dombivili) and to my surprise they were offering TD on non registered bikes!! i.e black and Red 200NS.

And they have removed the speed-o-meter cables in such a way that we can't see it manipulated, but the meter wasn't working !!

I was shocked when they offered me a TD on un-registered bike, When i asked him where is the TD bike then he said "Sir this two are the TD bikes!!" But i din't showed that they were doing wrong, in my face!!

Meter wasn't functioning and i saw all NS200 was marked at 21kms or 22kms there were 6 bikes display bikes.

And Bikes are readily available with them "NO WAITING PERIOD" He said Paisa "Do bike le Jao" he din't had Yellow color!! Blue, Black, Red was there!!

Please don't book Red or Black bike from there, if booking then check the chaisie number of both the bikes, so that he don't give you those TD bikes!!

          NOW one observation(My personal opinion):

While TD NS i din't find it aggressive?? where did that 23.5bhp went?? And what happen to 200cc??

          1. Braking/handling was awesome!!
          2. Quality was nice!!
          3. Suspension was great!!
          4. Riding position was great and comfortable!!
          5. While riding bike's weight was not known at all!!

          A good product by Bajaj!!

later i rode P220 TD bike and it was much aggressive then NS200.

Now i am thinking why P220 had good pick up and NS 200 din't ??
          Or bike had a problem!!

          • @rocket : awesome pics mate.. She does look smoking hot.
By the way, I just noticed that the clutch cable is hidden under the perimeter frame. Nice thought by Bajaj. Looks damn neat. Any feedback about tyres? How are they holding up? 500 kms should make it cross the run-in(of tyres).

                • Hello ns owners.
How is the pillion seat size and comfort for short city rides and long tours.
My friend wants to buy a new bike he is very much interested in duke but is put off by the fact that pillion seat is too small. I suggested he get 200ns. I would like to get some info from you guys who have experience regarding the pillion seat.

P.S. @M.G. sir is it true that the NS engine has a counter rotating balancing shaft ? and will a radiator guard (similar to duke 200) be necessary ? you mentioned somewhere that even a small stone can damage a super bikes radiator and cause fluid leak.
Can't comment on the counter rotating part. But regarding the radiator if you notice NS already has a radiator guard and it does its job pretty well. I did a lot of high speed riding on offroad terrain with a lots of stones of every size flying around but the radiator was not hit even once.

At last...... Thanks a lot bro. The bike really looks sexy and very clean. Guess the pics are taken right after the servicing!!

BTW, are the seats plastic coated?? Do you slip while seating?

And I noticed something (oil like) dripping on the left swing arm.[Last pic]
Chain lube i guess. please give a look

Yes. got an invisible seat cover on. With the onset of monsoon, constant rain on an uncovered seat may degrade them. This looks really neat and keeps the water out. Will remove them after the monsoon or maybe not. Lets see how it holds up. And it doesn't slip.

Yes, that's chain lube. The NS chain is an o-chain and doesn't require much of the usual lube but the chain spray.

Can't complain much about the tyres till now. But then again, I haven't been ripping the bike yet. Still, grips pretty well even when the road is pretty wet.
