Look at the yellow... BUMBLEBEEOriginally posted by neoakshay View PostHi Rahul, a lot of factors (including fate) led to me booking the Pulsar 200 NS!
Test Rides being given at Khivraj Bajaj, Kasturba Road I'm lucky because my office is right next door!
There are two bikes for the TD - a blue and a red. Initial impressions:- Super comfy riding position!
- Very free and quick revving engine
- Gearbox is completely un-Pulsar like.
- No vibes as such, just a slight buzz in the handlebars (which should be completely normal)
- Brakes are quite fantastic
- Quite a silent engine, though I heard the funny 'loose tappet' engine rattle that seems to be part and parcel (meaning normal) of this new Pulsar
First lot to be delivered around July 26th. When I booked yesterday, there were already 180 bookings taken by Khivraj across all their outlets. On-road in Bangalore is Rs. 1,00,481/-
Here are a few mobile cam pics of the display bikes.

post from a dumb idiotic guy
let me introduce myself to the new xbhp members here (prospective NS owners )Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Post1 - it will harm the engine ..
2 - dude just test ride it yourself and see .. another guy went for a test ride after us and we asked him bout the vibes wen he came back .. he told us that he did not ride it above mid revs so he did not feel any vibes .. then i put the bike on neutral ,, revved it and showed him the vibes ...
always remember to check the bike in every rev range during test ride ..
the owners are riding it carefully at lower revs ,, so they have not yet felt the vibes ..
the test ride bikes at popular bajaj bannerghatta road were unregistered and had their speedo disconnected ( tacho was working ) .. they might deliver it to someone like a new bike .. avoid buying black and blue here ... blue one was royally thrashed by me
First let me say I am not a DUDE
I am a dumb guy, i guess I even don't have the sensation of touch hence cannot feel any what-you-call vibes... sometimes I ask myself "Do I deserve to enjoy the company of such experienced and seasoned rider ?" And I guess this so-called-experienced-rider was the reason I stopped posting in this thread. Agreed that I am an Idiot but still I do have my limits of tolerating intelligent post from intelligent people.
I see all kinds of people posting here, some are worried whether the bike does a wheelie or not? I am fine with it, I say to myself that 'he might be a stunter so this is his genuine query'
someone says 'the swaying is not acceptable at all'. I say 'yes thats absolutely true, but i don't know what to do and I, personally am fine with it till it starts hindering my ride quality'
But when someone overly-experienced person goes berserk on this thread, I cant take it well enough hence this long post. Sometimes he converts this into a comparison thread sometimes a speculation thread and when he doesnt find anything better to do he just pours his heart out here...
Yes I know nothing about riding a bike,I know nothing about ride quality, I buy a bike and like an Idiot keep all the problems to myself
... but wait let me quote something here which I had posted long back...
Was that me??Originally posted by surojit View Post@Chintan and all 200NS owners... Congrats

I have one small query cum request for you guys. Please do the following.
Ride the bike at 30-40kmph, do not cross 40kmph, go on a smooth road and then just leave the handle bar (remove both the hands from the handle bar).
Please check if the bike is stable/moves in straight line or not.
Any response will be appreciated .
Thanks
Today I complete ONE MONTH of OWNERSHP of the NS, and yes i will post a small review, or wait can I give my bike to some experienced-testers and might be they will be able to give a hot smoking review
*This post is not to be taken personally, it is for the betterment of the forum*

Saw them in flesh and got my hands on!!
I reached there after the press meet. There were 4 of them in the hotel's parking area..nobody around and unnoticed. Me and my friend sat on them took pictures etc.I called the popular guys they told me that test ride wont be available now. Then bajaj guys came and they were going to take those bikes to showrooms. I asked one of them for an unofficial test ride as I have been waiting for it from march and paid the full amount of 96500/- and he gave me the bike for a test ride!

@suro, welcome back man,
of course u are back with a bang.!!!
Was thinking the reason for your sudden absence, and here it comes..Please ignore all those post.Originally posted by surojit View PostAnd I guess this so-called-experienced-rider was the reason I stopped posting in this thread.
We (actual prospective NS owners who are following this thread religiously), do consider u as a true biker, and the passion for your bike reveals in your odometre, and in those pictures that u posted.

am waiting for a long time for your post run-in and other adventurous experiencessigpicRelationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

Thanks for Advice
@ ChintanOriginally posted by chintan99 View Post@ashwini : For our paint peel off you should mail it to Bajaj. Paint peel off comes under warranty and that part of yours should be replaced. Please do not accept and touch up done by service guys. I would advise you to take your bike to another bajaj service centre where guys are trained properly or else they will ruin your bike. Please take care. I saw amount of 135 or 155 mentioned in your bill, what is that amount ? Also you should not have allowed the service guy to get your logo stuck by Feviquick.
Thanks bro for your advice. I have already dropped a mail to customer care citing my issues for service, paint peel off from the pipe origination from engine head problem and the Bajaj logo which came out at the time of washing. Still, I have not got my oil filter. Seriously, I'm thinking of visiting other service centers for better service.
Without logo, it was looking too bad
. So I said, it came out from you all. Please, fix the same. Finally they pasted it.
It's the Piston Oil - Rs 155 + Rs 20 (Tax) = Rs 175.
They said its good for piston, You should have this. So, I let them pour the same along with Engine oil.
Can it be replaced. I was not aware. So, I allowed them for a touch up. But, the paint is coming out still from the other round part of the pipe. Will show them to the guys once they reply to me or contact me.Always Wear Your Helmets and Ride Safe

Thanks & Regards

@everybody -- you all forgot about the good things that i pointed out ... only the vibrations part got all of you disturbed ... i dont want to comment on vibrations anymore .. it may even be because the side panels were not bolted on properly ...i was not the only person who found it there .. but it was a mistake by me that i reported it too soon and too directly ...
