  • @Chaoseater : First of all your old bike needs to be sold or transfered. Once it is done you need to submit a request for no claim bonus certificate with xerox copy of your updated RC book. Insurance company will issue NO CLIAM BONUS certificate with % of no claim discount. You then need to submit it to the insurance company who will insure your P200NS and you will get discount of 20% on your new premium.

The vehicle felt weightless and easily flickable once you are on the bike. The acceleration builds up slowly, this shows more maturity in the pull of the vehicle. Extremely happy with Bajaj moving on from TVS motors(Apache RTR). Ended up 10 minutes on the bike, those 10 minutes is close to impossible to describe. Infact, I asked the the person accompanying for Test ride to ride and I accompanied him as a pillion. The vibrations on the foot pegs are slightly noticeable. I am 5'6, felt a little uncomfortable balancing the vehicle on both legs.

I also spoke to manager regarding the payments, tentative delivery etc. The price is Rs.100182 + 900(Smart Card, HSIP, RTO Charges). The delivery will commence from last week of this month or first week of August. Bangalore XBHPians please comment on your deliveries too. I wanted to know because some member had posted that Kalyani Motors missed out on the first lot of the vehicles. Would want to ensure that I am not delivered late.
    Also left a feedback too.

@Chintan- Bro, my previous insurer was Bajaj Allianz, I have accumulated my No Claim bonus for the last four years. What would be the procedure for claiming NCB.
    TIA
@karan : I read it somewhere that any bike in India can not be approved by RTO without leg guard and Saree guard and prices of both are inclusive in the price of bike and cannot be charges extra. I can not recollect where i read it. So i guess saree guard and leg guard comes as default and you don't need to pay extra.

Thanks bro for your advice. I have already dropped a mail to customer care citing my issues for service, paint peel off from the pipe origination from engine head problem and the Bajaj logo which came out at the time of washing. Still, I have not got my oil filter. Seriously, I'm thinking of visiting other service centers for better service.

Without logo, it was looking too bad . So I said, it came out from you all. Please, fix the same. Finally they pasted it.

    It's the Piston Oil - Rs 155 + Rs 20 (Tax) = Rs 175.
They said its good for piston, You should have this. So, I let them pour the same along with Engine oil.

Can it be replaced. I was not aware. So, I allowed them for a touch up. But, the paint is coming out still from the other round part of the pipe. Will show them to the guys once they reply to me or contact me.
@annydhanya : Spoke to bajaj guys in morning and reported Rohans issue to them. He said they have already given instructions to 600 dealers not to give test rides on bikes meant for customers. As someone suggested here i told them to put some kind of safety seal on the speedo which they said would surely consider as an option.

    • Did Rohan say he checked for the vibes by parking the bike and then rising the accelarator ? Is this the way to check the vibes or refinement of vehicle?

      • Everyone has his own views/opinions, and right to speak and Rohan is entitled to what he experienced in the test ride. Some of the members bashed him like he has done a crime.
I think everyone going for a test ride should ride varyong the rpms, red lining, as eventually you are putting your hard earned money. The dealer should have shown some responsibility, should not have given a test ride without registering the bike. Some of the comments was even personal like he needs to go to a doctor.I think that was not required.

Thats not correct. Honda dealers sell the bike without these. And you have to pay extra for number plate, saree guard and crash guard. Feels like looting. So add 2k to the price of any Honda bike. Thanks Bajaj bikes include these

              • @everybody :
                1) The sound is awesome, I'd tell you. Not at all like duke (not offending any duke owners/lovers).
                2) Looks really big at the first sight.
                3) Yes, the big has an engine and there are vibrations. But not at all significant. vibrates only like any other bike would. Personally tested it both riding and throttling (not too much) by keeping it idle. There is nothing to worry at all.
                4) Awesome cut designs. Personally into designing, I'd say one of the best.
                5) Yellow is a certain eye-catcher.
                6) Turn radius would be a bit on the higher side.

                In total, thumbs up!

Thank you Chintan... Hope they do implement some kinda security to distinguish test drive vehicles...
