    Hey guys,
I want to know how do you lube your chains if you do not have a center stand. I read some thing about a paddock stand. Is it available for Ns and if so how expensive?

Why buy a paddock stand, when you can get a center stand fitted for Rs. 500 - 600??

        Guys,
How are your front brakes holding up in the rains? Mine get spongy and lose bite when ridden during rains.
On dry road, the brakes are perfectly fine. Its only when its raining and the roads are wet that they lose bite.

After 2-3 presses they get better. I had checked with the service center and they mentioned that this is expected behavior on the NS.
According to the SA, this was done to avoid front tire locking under heavy braking.
Would switching over to braided brake line alleviate this issue? Or there is something wrong with my brakes?

        Regards

some how the center stand spoils the visual appeal and makes it look like any other bike. But as it does the job i think i will have to purchase one.

Yeah, I did not buy it either. But this behaviour is hard to explain. Brakes work fine in the dry, lack bite and become spongy when wet.
Perhaps, I should visit a local mechanic and have the entire brake system cleaned and bled.

bleed out all the oil and fill with new dot4 oil and donot contineously pump the brake after the oil is over in the line. it will damage ur master cylinder 'o' ring. tell the mechanic that. he wont know about this. I've seen many mechanics pumping brakes without oil. and before bleeding don't forget to put a pipe on da bleeder nipple which will make sure no air goes back into the line even if you leave day brake pedal by mistake before closing da valve and will also prevent brake oil from flying all over the place and spoiling your bikes paint and going in your eyes.

guys I don't know if you'll have the same problem but my bike which is only 6 months old, yesterday when I took her to 120 for the first time, I felt my bike wobble a bit. after stopping I checked the swing arm and I found slight play. does any one else have the same problem. because from what I know a 6month old bike should never have play in the swing arm even if I go jumping over every speed breaker at 120kmph which I don't even do at 20kmph. I will tighten the swing arm axle and check. if it persists will go to the service center and replace the bushes. but please let me know if any one has the same problem

Here, again I ask, anybody running R15V2 tires on their NS?
I almost got this on my ride? But ended up getting MRF Revz-Y (140-60) section tire for my bike.

I am using the rear tyre on my bike. Its revz-s. Had abandoned stock tyre after about 1500 kms. Now I am 14k on odo and my bike is 23months old now.
If u are asking for a review- I'm pretty happy with it. its definitely better than eurogrip on tarmac. But since I am from Arunachal Pradesh and we don't have good roads here, Its been a mixed experience for me. On bad roads they are useless specially muddy off-roads. We often face landslides on roads here, and just after landslide, condition of roads are even worse and revz tyre are super slippery.
All in all, revz-s are superior than eurogrip if you ride on tarmac. Warms up faster and grippy and don't fishtail if you are riding it correctly. Also would like to mention that I have no experience wid any other tyre so can't compare. I would have bought a pirelli but it was nowhere to be found. Tried guwahati, kolkata and delhi.

Actually I was looking for a tire which could provide good grips in the slippery conditions, I rode R15 in rains and I did not like it that much. The road to my home is not paved so I can not get some soft compound tires. BTW I heard a guy in Dibrugarh has Pirelli tires, but I have yet to confirm it.
Revz-s works fine on rain. I guess it is one of the better tyres for wet conditions. But if your road conditions are not good then you can try ralco tyre. A guy gave a good review about it in the tyre section. When I asked for pirelli in guwahati, the person told me that he didn't have pirelli but he had 'ralco' which according to him was as good. I had never heard of that company before. I was already throwing away an almost new eurogrip and so didn't want to be any more adventurous. So chose the already proven revz. My next change would probably be pirelli sport demon, michellin pilot sport or mrf revz-c(duke 200). Not very convinced about ralco and now most of my biking is on proper road.

You'll find lots of stuff in market. Just look around. Present your case to the shop keeper, they'll be friendly enough to give you and option. Make sure your scratch cleaner got no or less abrasive cuz' they tends to thin your coated surface.

Cleaner these are fz16v2 tires. The tread pattern is exactly like the mrf revz-s.
I could not be more happy with these tires. I commute almost 100kms daily over concrete n tarmac roads.
Not once I've had any heart stopping moments unlike the eurogrips.

Not sure how they wud be on the muddy terains fortuntely the roads on my commute are in good shape.
The front is stock size zappers fx1, again fzv2 tires. I would wholeheartedly recommend these.
Pls note that the ride height has gone down a bit due to the tire. Have a look at my post a few pages back for pics.

Another thing to note is these tires felt lighter than the Eurogrips. I did not weight them, but I held them together and the Revz felt lighter.

How are they in the wet ? Both damp road and also in road with light water-layer ?
