By the way, the first thing which I thought after seeing the bike in flesh in Bangalore, was the fact that there was a time when Bajaj stickered "OIL COOLED" in bold and promoted it as a USP of the bike (P200). But today when they actually have developed a world class "LIQUID COOLED" bike, there's no mention of it!! Either the Indian market is matured or Bajaj has become too big!

However another small incident bought smile on my face. While checking out the gleaming RED 200NS at Khivraj, i met a guy in his late 20s booking the P220. I asked him why didn't he consider the 200NS? And well he said "Am I mad to buy a 5 costlier bike which is way inferior to the 220!" Well I just had a before I left the showroom.
    Silly guy..

BTW, do you know the VIN decoding pattern of Bajaj bikes???

I called up Deccan bajaj and one other showroom, both told me the price has not been finalized and also delivery will start almost at the end of this month.
About the price,we will come to know after 2-3 days.

        • Test Ride available in Jai Auto, Adayar, Chennai

Guys, received an Sms regarding the same yesterday.
Was talking with the manager today and this is what he has to say

" Sir, due to the customer demand we have obtained permission from Bajaj to use the bikes obtained from display piece for Test Ride. You can come at anytime during working hours and test ride the bike. We will be delivering only by priority wise, so do not worry. We might probably deliver the bikes before end of the month."

My humble request to everyone who test rides, please make sure next guy who test rides, feels the same way you did..
There is always a possibility that an innocent fellow might end up with the same bike which was used for test riding here.
          Cheers ..

Not really. Not needed also, we all know it's a 2012 model, and all are made in Chakan

Sorry bro.not sure on how the figures were derived. To add, I was told delivery would start only by August. Anyone know of the refund conditions for booking amount? Thanks..

May I ask if anyone would be able to create a Google doc which can store the vins of the test rides and the shop names? My internet is restricted and hence unable to do the same.

Since i do not own any other bike, i can only go on Saturday. I think you guys might not be that patient.. So you please proceed without me. And also the manager specifically asked to come in and around Lunch time...

Did the official launch take place yesterday ? Any links or pics fellahs.

                            • hieee everybody !!

i am a constant follower of this thread and i am a proud owner of pulsar 200ns after last night i think i should clear the minds of prospective buyers.

Things that i liked about my bike.

                              1) The way it looks , everybody stares me on road !!
                              2) It has very good handling awesome in traffic.
                              3) Its a cornering machine and it begs u drive at higher speed but i cant ( Run
                              in period)
                              4) It is very comfortable , and has a good riding posture.
                              5) Built quality is really good , paint job is nice.
                              6) I am not facing any kind of heating issue.
                              7) Its a new bike still i am not facing any kind of problem in the bike
                              everything is perfect.

Few things i dont like :

                              1) The horns are weak.
                              2) Yeah my bike also sways to the left when i leave my hand.
                              3) When i sat on the pillion seat i felt the vibration but very little it is acceptable not a problem at all !!

Everybody who are going to buy this beast please dont believe @rohan200ns he is misleading all the people , he cannot be satisfied with any bike.

pulsar 200ns is best bike available in the market i am very happy with my bumble bee it is awesome

and @rohan200ns u need to change your name it does not suits u at all and u should not buy pulsar 200ns definately !! , may god bless u !!
