The center stand comes as an add-on accessory. By the time you take it for first service, I guess it should be available.
You don't need the center stand to repair a puncture on a "tubeless tyre".

By the way, bikes like the R15, CBR150R/250R, Ninja 250R, 200 Duke and 1000 cc imports don't come with center stand.. even as an accesory.

So the Pulsar 200NS with the underbelly exhaust is actually better to ride in flooded areas than bikes with normal exhausts..!!

              • My first FE figure comes arround 41.60.
With driving conditions normal. Short bursts of acceleration from time to time.
With pillion most of the time. And rpm level below 4.5k.
                This is before first servicing!

I think its more than enough for the beast!!

I forgot! Tubeless tyres! Unlike tube tires we don't have to remove the tyre!

                    I didn't got any.
Is it the problem by dealer or the company?

I enquired about center stand and dealer said no such thing exist for NS as of today. He is not sure if its going to come as an accessory.

How will i recover puncture without double stand

                    Payeng has already answered this.

My bike is still unregistered but just could not resist this morning. Work up at 5 AM & took bike for a spin on eastern express highway. A good 15 kms ride. Saw a police beat below Mulund east fly-over and just zoomed off before ... you know ..

My take on bike so far -

                    Dislike -
                    * Blue back lit indicators. Either they should have been white or no back lit.
                    * Console is turned off when engine kill switch is engaged to kill ignition.
                    * Console back lit is not always ON unlike ZMA
                    * High turning radius may create problems initially.
                    * Switches at left hand side are difficult to access while gloves are on.
                    * Personally finding clutch lever far stretched. Hope I can adjust it.

                    Mad at -
                    * Bike sways to left as soon as I leave handle. Also, one can feel the handle bar slightly left aligned. This issue has been reported by Chintan already.
                    * Side mirrors are small.

                    Like -
                    * Everything else

Today I am going for RTO passing at showroom and would convey my feedback to the showroom manager. But also want to contact Bajaj directly about handler bar issue at least. Will also get clutch lever adjusted to my needs.

                    Questions -
                    * Can owners tell me what is the idle rpm currently set on their bikes?
                    * Are clutch & brake levers adjustable?
                    * Anybody opted for high security IND number plates? Can they fit directly?

It often takes a humiliating overtake to understand that an early jump off the red light won't help them lead the pact. All I want to say is - Go after green.

                    • fully synthetic oil

Guys replying from the service centre itself. Here the guy who filled in the service form told me that they will be pouring fully synthetic oil in the first service itself. I asked them that fully synthetic is not advisable on a new engine but he said that it is recommended by bajaj.

Would be great if some seniors can shed some light on this issue. Should I let them pour the fully synthetic oil or ask them to put dtsi oil.

They are charging 975 rupees for the oil and some 300 rupees for the other stuff.

Can you explain more about this.
                        Both about ZMA, and NS

@speedshift, AFAIK, both chintan and rocketjack has refilled the same DTSi 1000 oil in their first service., and i read somewhere in duke 200 thread that it is a semi-synthetic oil.
anyway, you can ask for any written instruction from bajaj about pouring fully synthetic oil from the service centre.
Also refer to the owners manual. It must be written there somewhere.

What does the user manual say? It should be mentioned in the manual.

As an owner of duke i had to take the bike thru muck and dirt a few days ago, infact the water submerged the exhaust and there was no issue, so i guess NS will not have any trouble getting through water.

I would say, stick to dtsi oil which is semi-synthetic. Even in my duke i have put in dtsi oil at first service. I plan to put in FS after 5k kms or maybe 10k kms.

So the puncture on tubeless Tyre do not need to take out the tyre?
