Got a call from Khivraj Bajaj Bangalore... The person on call informed that the bike would be launched in Bangalore on 26th July... And the deliveries would start after that(he did not give me an exact date)... When asked about test ride.. he replied that too would be after 26th July... unforfunately we Bangaloreans will be one among the last ones in the country to get the bike... Looking at the positive side, we atleast have a DATE!!!! finally...

I hope we get independence from this loooong wait before the Indian independence...

Thanks bro. Yeah, even I felt that the only way to own the beast and be safe was to switch to Woodland. Now, the only thing is that my foot should not get stuck in between the side stand protruding and foot peg. It happens to me when riding FZ.

@hara : those are wheel balancing weights. Those are put after a lot of calculations and experiments. See the HMC bikes, almost all of them have it.

every other person in my life was asking me this, when I told them that Pulsar 200 NS is the only option for me..!!

My first bike after college was CBZ (2001).. I never saw so stylish bike in those times.. I was so so happy when I got CBZ.. i used that bike left right center.. after first service CBZ gave me 72KMPL of average and I was shocked.. what?? I checked 1000 times after that.. and with my entire ownership she never ever gave me less that 56KMPL of average. these are the times when petrol was Rs. 33/LTR. My father told me that if you want bike I will give you but respect her.. never ever ride her in reserve.. you are a BAD owner if you are doing this.

I used to talk to her.. daily.. everything and whatever I want to share with her.. I shared everything with my bike.. WHY?? I don't know..
after six years I sold that bike and bought new CBZ - Extreme!!
She was not at all like the first one.. "extreme"ly Disappointed..
I sold her when I bought Hyundai I 10.. from 2008 to 2012 I was using I 10 only.. Superb car..

but i was missing something.. I was missing that feeling of "to be in My own different world even being in crowd "

So I booked Thunderbird in December'11..
1) because of EUPHORIA that bike has
2) Me, My wife and my KID three of us can seat easily
and i was ready to wait for next 8 months..

meantime I was using TVS WEGO.. for daily commute.. because of HEAVY TRAFFIC and obviously with rising Petrol Prices it is bit shame to USE CAR for only one person..

after booking i was confused because of the maintenance part of Bullet.. it has thousand problems still every owner loves it.. why?? I don't know..

In January.. I read somewhere that some bike from bajaj is launched.. WOW what a BIKE!! and my most favorite NAKED style!! 23.5 PS!! WOW!! lets wait.. may be i will cancel thunderbird.. but you all know after that.. that bike was just a dream.. they are not ready to launch !!

One fine day in march my JIJAJI called me and said me that he is going to US for atleast 1-2 years and he want me to take care of his 2008 Bullet Electra (Right side gear)

I went to his place.. took the bike.. WHOHH!!! what a feel..!!! what a thump!!!
but just thump.. and nothing else... as heavy as road roller..!! no no no.. I cant ride this bike.. (My personal opinion) 22KMPL -NO NO NO..!!

I used that bike 2 - 4 weeks and that bike told me that she is not for me.. for her maintenance she is with me only. I will take care..!!

i was thinking that alll the way i was going to wait for thunderbird.. then why not for NS?? Meanwhile I read each and everything about NS..

I was desperately in need of bike.. cause i do whole lot of things.. and because my wife was using WEGO in weekend.. that situation was like I WANT ONE BIKE FOR ME!!! period.. I then went to Yamaha showroom to see new FZ.. cause of that rear seat changes..

the same day someone on my FB posted that NS is launched.. I rushed to KTM outlet in pune and.. THAT.. THERE.. WOHAAAA!! what is that black shining thing?? SLIM - PREDATOR??!! I WANT THIS THING IN YELLOW!! my little kid loves yellow!! i asked sales person and he told me 'sir, go to sai service near corporation - bookings open now!!'

i went there booked and after 10 days I got call from showroom "SIR aapne wo naya pulsar book kiya hai na.. leke jao aagaya hai.. sham ko delivery milega"...

WHAT?? LEKE JAO???

I went there.. formalities done..!! and i took the bike!!

Last Saturday I took my bumblebee to do the ritual... yes in Pune whatever is NEW – Girlfriend or BIKE we first go to Sihnagad. It is the best way to check Both.

Just for the BUMBLE - BEE PART

Till date..

1) SUPERB SITIING COMFORT FOR BOTH RIDER AND PILLION. (I am 5.11)

2) Average 45 KMPL (8 KM HIGHWAY + 8 KM CITY daily)

3) this bike is AMAZINGLY EASY to Maneuver !! AMAZING! AMAZING!! AMAZING!!!

4) EUROGRIP TYRES – but still it has lot of grip!!

5) NO heating like sign!!

6) Superb POWER and TORQUE distribution in every gear. On sixth gear You can drive at 36 KMPH to whatever the high speed.. I never touched 60 yet!! (Run-in Period)

7) Not even a sign of any Problem.

8) no sign of any ache in any part of my body after riding it for 100 kms.. which includes climbing sinhagad + city ride.

9) She begs you to cross every limit of that F**ING run in period.

10) Excellent Quality!

11) I will go on and on and on praising her because she FITS and completes.. My Every Expectation.

This bike is so FRIENDLY that I HAVE STARTED SHARING EVERYTHING WITH HER..!! I wake up in night and stare her from my balcony till my wife yells at me... I and My KID find reasons to go out.

I ride a Honda Unicorn (7+ Years old)... The engine still sounds like rubbing ones hand over silk... A tough decision... Rather a brave decision changing from Honda to Bajaj.... But P200 NS is a killer by looks & specs... Loved it instantly...

Reliability and Longivity is something we will all come to know over a period of time... hence took the chance and booked it...

Then in came the waiting which never ended... (still going on)... Yesterday received a call that P200 will be launched in Bangalore on July 26th... Mixed Feelings.. Happy that I have a confirmed date... but another month to wait??? Damn... and no committed date of delivery... The wait is still on!!!

Folks, I just got a call from Khivraj, they told Pulsar 200NS would be launched by the end of June and expected Deliveries are by july 7th ! xD

I have one small query cum request for you guys. Please do the following.

Ride the bike at 30-40kmph, do not cross 40kmph, go on a smooth road and then just leave the handle bar (remove both the hands from the handle bar).

Please check if the bike is stable/moves in straight line or not.
