    • First Service Report

Got the first service done today.
The bill ran up to Rs 816 for the "free" service.

Change in engine Oil: Rs 420
      Change in filter: Rs 74
      Added Additive: Rs 250

Look of your washed, gleaming Pulsar 200 NS: Priceless

Anyways, you may choose not to add the additive.
They topped up the coolant for free.
Also, the workshop guys try to sell you a lot of extra stuff like chain spray, teflon coating etc... so watch out.

On the whole, the smoothness of the engine has increased significantly after the service. Also, a significant improvement in the clutch play and gear shifting especially while down-shifting. Will let you all know the other changes gradually.

Will post more pics of the sparkling beauty in sometime.

Was really frustrated at his remarks. I told him meet me after i finish 2000kms and i will show you what this bike got. As soon signal turned green i showed him the pick up and than when he met at next signal i told him " YEH TOH TRAILOR HAI, PICTURE ABHI BAAKI HAI MERE DOST"
I also met two three of these kind..
I just smiled and let them go ahead as fast as they can.. but.. they cannot..
        pity them!!

what is that filter change coz only consumable are chargable in free service not spares, btw are the mechanics trained to handle p200ns coz in most of the places they arent even trained for handling 220 fairing

The only free in free service is labor charge. That's Rs 400.
The mechanic seemed very apt in handing the fittings but took a lot of time. But this was the first 200NS to be serviced, so understandable.

The first service is at 500 KM, 2nd at 4.5k and 3rd at 9.5k.
                    The run-in is 2k KM.
Also there is a little wrench icon that comes up on the display when your service is due.

They changed the engine filter and the oil was pulsar dtsi as re-commended in the manual.

@rocket it may be the oil filter not engine filter
